The Honda Mamoru (守) is created to reflect the environment that we are living it and in the future. According to the global warming, there is more and more typhoons in far east Asia, which create catastrophic floods.
To begin with, The floods make cars sinked and people's life are compromised. On the other hand, the neon signs or trees on road are always blown away and damage the top of car.
The core inspiration is original from the kanji "守". The top of this word is like a lid that protect the treasure under it.
Therefore, the top of the roof is floating (with Magnetic levitation technology). To prevent object directly damage the roof and therefore protect the passengers. The front and rear fender also using the same technology that can absorb the force while hit the object. From the side triangle graphic, the flood detector inform the driver if the floods reach the dangerous level. The door open normally, but will seal if the driver initiate the emergency mode, the windshield will open forward allows emergency exit. Finally, the roof is made out of solar panel and will charge up during daytime and save it for two emergency usages. Firstly, The electric water jet engine will help stabilizing the car and prevent it from sinking. Secondly, the roof will glow to inform the rescue team while there is no light on the street.
More photo from light box coming soon. Special thanks to everyone who give me suggestions and critique on the projects, and @joyonjun_ for color suggestion
Title: Mitsubishi Evo Xi (9kiite's concept)
So... I found out about the 2017 Mitsubishi Grand Lancer, a Taiwan only (I think) Lancer. I, don't mind if Proton makes it the new Inspira by now.
However, I got an idea. What if the Lancer continues to be an Evo? Grabbed my pencil and eraser and start looking up for pictures it and the previous Evos for inspiration.
As drawing the front, I slowly felt like I was drawing a Lexus but for the rear, I tried. Just take 50% of the rear bumper of the Evo X and 25% of the Evo 9. The rest like the sides, I can't think of anything to improve it.
So yeah, here is my Evo 11 concept-ish sketch. The WRX is just alone without it.
