Maybe I'm just dumb or just not understanding very well, but the Anti-lock break, traction control system, and service all wheel drive lights all came on in my car. I went to the great internet to try to figure out average costs for repair, but couldn't find anything about prices. Is this because it all varies per vehicle? I know nothing about cars, besides the fact that some look very sexy to me. Any advice? I know I'm going to need service but was just trying to get a heads up.

Happy Friday, so glad it's the weekend!
Had a nightmare at the car garage this week so might go and chase the sun this weekend on a little road trip. Took the car in to get fixed (the key was sticking in the ignition) and they managed to crash it into their workshop shutter and rip the roof rack off 😂🤦🏼♀️ Needless to say its getting repaired so thinking of making full use of the courtesy car this weekend, every cloud and all that!
Hope you've all had a better week... any exciting weekend plans? #carproblems#touristing#weekendtrips

Mental health can be a tricky thing. You can wake up and feel energized and up beat and ready to take on the day. And then one little thing happens and you fall pretty low again. .
This morning I woke up, ready to take on my busy day. I got out of bed, washed my face, did the dishes that were forgotten from the night before. I started the coffee, I woke the kids, I put on music and I sang my heart out while acting like a total goof. My spirits were high, I was excited to take my son to his school performance at the radio station. I was ready to super clean the house for the BBQ this weekend.
And then plans changed, the car couldn’t be driven, there was a flat tire and the donut wasn’t safe to drive on. Can’t be fixed till tomorrow. Immediately all the positivity left my body and I became upset. Not at anyone, but at myself, at the world. My son worked hard all year to be able to get to this Radio performance with his ensemble. And now he can’t go, because I can’t take him. My older son can’t get to school and get his Rewards from last nights Ceremony that we had to miss. He can’t go buy his 8th grade yearbook. My daughters can’t get to school and turn in their papers for their end of the year parties. I feel defeated, I feel at fault, I hate that I can’t do this for them. All the negative emotions have taken hold of me. It doesn’t matter that it actually isn’t my fault, and that the kids will be just fine. I feel guilty. But as I sat here going through quotes online, I was reminded that I’m in control. I’ve sat here in my sadness and now it’s time to get up and push forward. If I allow myself to wallow, it will only worsen. So instead, today will be productive. We will clean house and prepare for a weekend filled with friends and family and food and water games. It’s ok that today didn’t go as planned, we are alive and we have many other things to look forward to. Depression can kiss my ass, I don’t have time for it. . #uplifting#igotthis 💪 #bbqweekend#Family#friends#momlife#mom#school#carproblems#mentalhealthawareness#mentalhealth#ensemble#momofboys#momofgirls#boys#girls#music#dance#love#LoveDecencyRespect#fridayquotes#fridayfeelings
A different kind of post today: Racing Explained! I will try to explain racing terms in a way everybody will understand. For example weird regulations, strategy, tyres, flags, tyres, car problems, but track terms as well. So here is a first one which shows the different types of corners there are. Almost every corner of a track can be described as one of these. Most of them are pretty easy to understand. A hairpin can be very slow, but very wide as well (at Monza for example) The 'esse's' are basically fast left or right turns closely followed by each other (think of Suzuka, Silverstone or COTA). A chicane is basically a slow S-turn (Last turns of Spa). Hairpins and chicanes are made to create a slower part of a lap and to enable easier overtaking. A U-turn has a double apex, which means it goes twice left of right (double gauche at Spa for example). An increasing radius turn means the driver needs to steer less hard as the turn progresses. Fast turns are often like this. An increasing radius turn is the other way around (Turn 9-10 at Bahrain). The driver needs to steer harder as the turn progresses. It takes a lot of effort to carry the most speed in all of these corner shapes. .
