Have you signed the @nationalcannabisindustry petition urging Facebook to stop censoring the cannabis industry?! This is important! Facebook has a history of actions and policies against licensed cannabis businesses and even those in the industry who don’t touch or deal with the plant in any way, such as marketing companies, or policy reform advocates. It’s been difficult for cannabis businesses to market and grow on Facebook due to these circumstances. One of the greatest benefits of Facebook is the ability to target ads by age and location, cannabis businesses want to be able to use this platform to advertise like any other industry but limit exposure to adults age 21 and those located in states where cannabis is legal. As a social media manager who works with cannabis companies Facebook is the bane of my online existence. I just want to be able to run ads for my clients and get some real results on Facebook!
