How we LIVE in our house, and how we SELL our house, are two different things. Staging a home prior to listing is very important. I personally stage my listings, and love the process. It makes for quality pics for marketing, smooth showings, designer touches in clutter-free rooms, and brings the seller top dollar. While I appreciate this pic with quiet color, simple today decor, the lamp cord needs to be edited out for great listing pics. It’s sometimes the small stuff, that makes a difference in marketing. Thoughts? 😄🏡😄

✅ We can’t deny that technology has been a great asset to the industry. It has simplified so much for the Real Estate agent and client that often times people think technology will replace them. The truth is buying and selling real estate is such a big emotional and financial transaction that a robot or internet can never replace the expertise, advice, and often times emotional counseling that goes on during the whole process.
✅ Industry disrupters such as companies that lowers agent commissions to a fraction of what the norm is may seem like great business models minimizing the value a true real estate agent brings to a transaction. Unfortunately we have seen such companies getting close to being out of business because they cannot keep up with that business model. Furthermore, those companies may not do 1/2 as much as a true Realtor®️ does. Most of their realtors may be part-time agents whom, by not being full-time, may not have a real grasp as to the way the market is truly doing therefore not being able to get the most dollar to their sellers and the best deal to their buyers.
✅ Again, let’s touch on the emotional rollercoaster that goes on with a real estate transaction. As mentioned before, often times an agent may have to wear the hat of a counselor by helping their clients through those emotions and giving them objective points of view and educating the client so they can make the best decision possible. That can never be replaced by any other business model out there!
Real Estate agents are and will continue to be a great asset to the real estate industry. Times have changed, yes; technology has helped clients become more educated than ever. However, having a GOOD agent on your side (one who is really looking for the client’s best interest) will always be a great investment. Their experience will help them deal with and resolve all the bumps that may appear along the road or at the last minute of a real estate transaction. .
