I love Wednesdays-they get a bit busy in the morning but always rewarding!
I go to a women’s bible study on Wednesday morning.
Yes, when I first started, I was nervous. Yes, it took a leap of faith to go. No, I never thought I’d be a small group leader. But God knew all along. Sometimes things happen in baby steps. I’m forever grateful for the kind, caring and genuine women that come to this study! It’s been a life changer!
Now, I’m prepping for supper tonight—-shredded barbecue chicken sandwich’s 😍
Want to know how I meal plan each week🙋♀️🙋♀️ I ask for a meal idea from each of the kids and my husband! It’s a GREAT way to:
1. Not have to come up with all the meals by myself
2. Makes each of them feel important and have a say

Who has time for lash extensions? Don’t get me wrong, they are super pretty but as a busy mom, I don’t have time to go spend a couple of hours getting my lashes done. And let’s be honest, those things can be pretty pricey! This fiber mascara from evermarket gives me a better look than when I had lash extensions just before having Beckham. Super easy to apply. I purchased these on #amazon and they were $12.99 I think....for 2 sets!!! Way cheaper than extensions! What is your favorite mascara??

Kids ALWAYS need something!!! . More school supplies, more shoes, more clothes, more FOOD, lol. Recently, (while getting ready for church,) I learned that my son had outgrown ALL his other shoes. Yet another, unexpected expense. Ok son, let’s go to the store. I learned that my 9 year old wears a men’s 8.5 shoe! Father help me! So he picked out his shoes and the rest is history. But it’s because of the Herbalife opportunity that I was able to swipe with no problem! I was able to fill a need for my son, without having to beg or borrow. And I made back what I spent, on our way to eat immediately afterwards! .

I'm a mom with 4 kids... yes two are grown but it doesn’t mean they need you any less... now they need me more. It doesn’t mean that I stop being involved or stop being their mom. It’s true what they say... as they get older their needs just change.
Let’s be honest... our kids needs come first!There is always something that “needs” to get done or someone that “needs” you right now and it would be so easy to push myself aside. ⠀
When you’re a mom it’s just what we sign up for. Kinda like a job description... “All other duties as assigned”🤣
To be honest, a few years ago I never even put a second thought into it. It wasn’t until the unhealthy habits started slowly piling in, I was finding myself more tired and my energy was feeling zapped and I just was not happy inside with who I was letting myself become.
I made the decision nearly 3 years ago to make an investment... in ME!! In my HEALTH... my FITNESS and my WELL BEING. Sure, when I started I felt a little selfish but now I know it’s necessary.
When I invest in these 30’ish minute sweat sessions my mood changes and my day gets a whole lot better.🙌⠀

I had my first weighted workout with my new program today. I was excited just to be incorporating them and ready to knock this 20 minutes out real quick! Turned out to be much more challenging than I anticipated so luckily my husband was on a rest day from LIIFT4 and AGREED to join me! When he’s there, I just push harder. Are you vegetarian, flexitarian, vegan, raw vegan, high-carb low-fat, high-fat low-carb, keto, paleo?
I know that labels make us feel safe because you know, human beings are social animals and that’s a way to relate to others. But sometimes labels can make us feel overwhelmed. All the rules to follow, dogma around them, pressure from others… .
I’ve been there. I thought that while following a “diet” I’ll have the police arrested me because I transgressed one rule by eating this or that. But nothing happened! Well, except guilt. And believe me, guilt is not healthy!🤭
But one day, I’ve decided to say STOP. I’ve decided to follow my instinct.
Let’s forget about macros, carbs or fat quantity.
I’ve started to balance food AND lifestyle to feel better. 💪
And on that journey, I’ve discovered that we’re all differents and that there is no “one-size-fits-all” way of eating.
I’ve learnt that my body knows what is good for me when I take care of it. When I relax, breathe, play, socialize, follow my heart, move… my body knows what foods is best.
And today, instead of cravings candies or Nutella, I crave fruits, nuts, salads or raw chocolate. 🥑🥥
That decision changed my life. .
And I don’t care what people think, I listen to my intuition.
Because that’s how we’re meant to behave as part of nature! And nature always gets it right… 🌱

Parce que le quotidien ce n'est pas que le sport 🏃♀️et la bouffe healthy 🥗!
Et oui je suis souvent en mode working girl👩💼 ! Et je cours tout le temps mais on ne peut pas vraiment parler de running mais plutôt de course contre la montre ⏱ : s'occuper des enfants le matin, en déposer un chez la nounou l'autre à l'école, filer chez au travail, puis enchaîner avec la deuxième journée en se dépêchant pour récupérer les enfants chez la nounou, le bain, le repas, les coucher, ranger, tout préparer pour le lendemain, et on fini explosée et au réveil c'est reparti pour un tour !
Et alors lorsque les enfants ont décidé de n'en faire qu'à leur tête... ça devient vraiment dur😱🤪😵! Bref j'avais envie d'extérioriser mes journées éprouvantes parce qu'en ce moment je suis ko et j'ai l'impression de ne pas avoir une minute à moi

Back in the day when I was only going to the bathroom 1-2x a week, I felt like shit. I was miserable and uncomfortable in my skin and my clothes. Before pregnancy I went to the gym 6 days a week. Fitness was my passion. (Swipe for proof!).
After childbirth I saw people like Hannah Bower and Katy Hearn get right back into the gym. I was motivated, but it HURT. It wasn’t until 6 months postpartum that I really felt comfortable doing workouts other than walking and yoga.
My point is, and @hannahbower2 and @katyhearnfit would say the same, you have to listen to YOUR body. Every woman’s body is different before pregnancy, during, and after. We all experience things and heal so differently.
I’ve been sharing my workouts in my stories lately because I’m so happy to be back doing what I love - even if it’s in the comfort of my home. But if you’re a new mom, please don’t compare your postpartum journey/body to mine! Or anyone else’s. ...
I want to inspire and motivate everyone to be healthier, but please remember that we’re all at different stages of our wellness journeys. 💕
