ask and you shall receive - the highly requested paleo recipe of my oats is here 🥳 this recipe is honestly so easy and ive been eating it on the reg (along with my regular oats of course) and it’s a great way to pack in veggies in the morning to get all those great nutrients! and since it’s paleo, that means it’s also vegan, gluten free and sugar free 🥣 #vegan#glutenfree#paleo.
i don’t abide or commit to any diet, for me that is simply too restricting and enforcing the whole “good and bad foods” trap i was stuck in for a long time 🙅🏻♀️ now that i’m far from that mindset, i simply have preferences, foods that fulfill my stomach and my soul ✨ some days i prefer plant based meals, other days i want a real deal donut from the local bakery! other foods i simply just don’t like (most red meat and most versions of kale 🤢) it’s just about listening to my body and honoring what it wants!.

CHOCOLATE PALEO PROTEIN “OATS” 🍫:
MIX the following in a pot,
- 1-1/2c cauli rice (frozen or fresh works)
- spoonful ground flax
- spoonful chia seeds
- spoonful coconut flakes (optional)
- splash of vanilla
- 3/4 to 1c almond milk (only ingredients almonds and water) or water
ONCE mixed all together, put the pot on medium heat on the stovetop and stir until it boils, then turn it to medium-low and let it sit to thicken up. THEN turn on low and add the following,
- 1/4 banana, mashed
- spoonful of coconut cream (only ingredients coconut and water)
- a few sprinkles of crushed walnuts
- 1Tbsp paleo friendly protein powder (i use @nuzest_usa)
TURN up to medium and let flavors combine (you may need a splash of water since it’ll be thick), then once it is all thickened up and combined take the pot off the stove and pour into bowl, top with what you’d like then serve! ENJOY!!!

These warm, creamy Stovetop Apple Cinnamon Oats really hit the spot this morning (especially since my apartment is cold af)
To make, I combined 1 cup steel cut oats and 2 cups water (2 servings - saved one for breakfast tomorrow) in a stovetop pan on low-medium heat. Once they thickened (after about 6-7 minutes), I stirred in 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice, 1 tbsp @bobsredmill ground flax, and 1 scoop of @vitalproteins marine collagen. Added 1/4 cup @califiafarms almond milk creamer at the end for extra creaminess (normal nut milk has the same effect)
While the oats cooked, I sautéed some red apple pieces in my mini skillet on medium heat for a few minutes. I sprayed them with avocado oil and then sprinkled on some cinnamon and coconut sugar before adding them to the pan.
Additional toppings today included @greenvalleycreamery plain yogurt and a @fixandfogg PB drizz. YUM.
