What are you grateful for today?⠀
I’ve been doing the #last90days challenge with @msrachelhollis and @mrdavehollis and one of the practices is looking for gratitude in every day.⠀
It’s crazy when you go looking for it in the little things how much you can find to be thankful and grateful for!⠀
I feel like during seasons of my life (pregnancy 😛🤷🏼♀️) I have been a chronic complainer. I’ve had to catch myself often because I was getting on my own nerves with the stupid complaining! 🤦🏼♀️ I have to be intentional and I have to be thoughtful because no one enjoys a negative Nancy not even me!! Am I right?⠀
Love this quote from Rachel because it is so true! ⠀
“Gratitude isn’t an attitude, gratitude is a CHOICE!” ⠀
Choosing to be grateful today and everyday! Here is my list of the things I was grateful for yesterday! What’s on your list??? 👇⠀
1. Sunshine ⠀
2. Beautiful fall leaves⠀
3. Noah feeling better⠀
4. Coffee with pumpkin spice creamer ⠀
5. Five day weekend coming up⠀
6. My health⠀
7. Avocado toast⠀
8. Pumpkin candles⠀
9. White wine ⠀
10. My kids love for me⠀
Oh Caleb, how you keep Mama on her feet. Caleb and I are just relaxing today, yesterday was rough on Mama (this cold weather is really getting to us). Caleb has a runny nose and I know he isn't liking it much. I'm so excited to be with family this week. Crossing my fingers we are both all better for the family gatherings.

Nothing like some snow angels and sledding after a long day!!

Can’t believe our little turkey is seven months old?!?😭
He is the happiest baby.
He still sleeps 13+ hours every night.🙌🏻
He says “dada.”
His obsession with his big bro is still strong.
He is still a little 🥜 with a massive head.
He is loving baby food.
He has two teefers.
He has FOMO so he has to be sitting up at all times.
Mommas milk is still life. 🍼
Most of my days are spent just staring at him cherishing these fleeting moments. 💙
With Christmas fast approaching, I’m wondering if anyone has given experiences instead of tons of toys for their little kids? .
They have three rooms full of toys, books, etc and thought it would be fun to be creative and plan something fun as a family. What are your thoughts??
FORTY THREE WEEKS :: You can stand up without pulling yourself up and try to walk more consistently. You started making “oh” noises and it’s the cutest thing in the world. You finally learnt how to go down the stairs by yourself (mostly... and never unsupervised). I can’t believe you’ll be 1 in 9 weeks. 😭😭😭

This little honeybee 🐝 is 9 months old today! He’s all smiles, but meanwhile I’m over here experiencing every emotion under the sun...🌞
Excited, overwhelmed, weepy, joyful, unsure, blessed... 🌺
I’m practicing #nomomguilt and want to keep remembering God has designed our babies to grow and change! What a blessing to continue watching this kid grow!

☀️ Happy 26 weeks sweet little Maddie, we have one fiesty energetic girl already. She’s going to need to stay that way if she wants to keep up with her big brother! She officially has the new nickname of “Flamingo baby” as she (per the doctors) already has daddy’s long legs... and she uses them to kick really REALLY hard 🎀
. We are home from our little “Babymoon” and probably last big trip as a family of 3. I officially survived Disney World pregnant style haha (it was rough...I really needed a strong drink at times 🤣). But Brooks had the time of his life and we so loved watching him enjoy all the magic. He’s so easy to travel with, it’s scary to think we are going to be starting over with a newborn. Hopefully she has the same travel bug as he does!

How much more if your 3 year-old is throwing up tantrums? It would be the loudest, I guess.
We haven't breastfed in several days! My little man is getting so big and independent, but at least he's still a momma's boy! 💙💙 #supportbreastfeedingmoms

🗣PROUD SUPPORTER OF MESSY HAIR & SWEATPANTS! Can I get an, Amen?! ❤️
Seriously though, one of the best perks of being a stay at home mama is getting to wear your pajama pants all day just because! 🤣🤦🏻♀️
I usually have to laugh at myself because I’ll do my hair & makeup just in case I have to go somewhere, or a surprise visitor shows up -but lounge around in sweatpants all day because, well it’s comfy. 🤷🏻♀️😍 #balance
I loveeee me some messy textured curls lately!(maybe because they’re just “undone” enough to go with my sweats🤣) I put a little tutorial in my stories of how I achieve mine, go check it out! 🖤

This is my very very Day 1 picture. This is the picture where I hit rock bottom in my nutrition and fitness and I was tired of feeling uncomfortable in my own skin.
I knew I had to do something ASAP. I was a very unhappy mama and wife. I was so unhappy with myself. This was the most unhealthy I had ever been.
Fast forward to almost a year and I’m a very different person inside and out. I am more happy, more healthy, more fit, and have not only transformed my body, but I transformed my mindset.
Today, I have the confidence to share my journey and not be ashamed of it. I’ve lost 25 lbs in 10 months and I’m not done! That is something to share about and be proud of and I hope to inspire other women to join this journey with me.
Everyone starts somewhere. One day at a time you keep your mind in the game and YOU DON’T GIVE UP!! Dig deep and find your WHY to get you where you need to be. You deserve to be healthy and fit FOR YOURSELF.
It’s not easy, but it’s worth it!

Just dropped Bren off at daycare and I’m already looking through my phone at pictures of him...💙
Being a full-time working mama is FAR from easy. I see him for maybe five hours total during the week and oh my gosh it kills me! I take him to day care in the morning and see him for about 30 minutes before that and then usually by the time I get home from work he’s already asleep. 😭
I am so grateful to have an amazing job that allows me to support my family, but ugh do I miss him!!
Over here daydreaming about the four day weekend with my family 👪
Where’s my full-time working mamas at who feel me on this? 🙋♀️
Son: “Mom, you know what? Nature taught me more about math and art and music and poetry and literature and science than anything else we’ve done so far.” Me: “How so?”
Son: “Because it got my eyes and heart and mind and skin and soul ready to understand what people were saying in my books.” 😭😭😭
I had to share this post from last January again because in the last week I’ve had so many people ask why we spend so much time in nature when we “could be in class learning.” This conversation came to mind immediately. Then I thought of my eldest son sharing earlier this fall, “when I’m out in nature my dyslexia isn’t something I’m fighting, it’s something that’s shooting me forward and helping me understand what’s around me in the best ways!” I thought of the look of wild joy on my little one’s face whenever he runs up a trail. He never looks like he wants to escape when he is outside. He never cringes out in the wild. He leans into the wind and breathes. We bring nature into our learning and we bring our learning out into nature. For us, Nature has never been an extra curricular activity. Nature has been a foundation. Back in 2012 my eldest was working away on a little worksheet and he gave a huff of indignation, “School is so weird, I think. Why are we always coloring pictures of things when we could just go outside and see them or count them or play with them? I don’t like that kind of paper! I don’t want to circle all the pine trees, I want to visit them outside!” In many ways, this became the first piece of educational philosophy in our home: “why circle things in a worksheet when you can go outside and be with them instead?” ❤️

The reality of being a mum of three & one week postpartum. 💕Getting everyone to look at the camera and/or not be silly is not a reasonable expectation. The fact that we took a picture at all impresses me. 💕Getting three out of the house seems like it takes four times as long. 💕I’m swollen. A belly band is my best friend and yes, I still look six months pregnant. 💕It’s messy, beautiful, heart warming, chaotic, with more than a few stretch marks, spit up stains, and far from perfect but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
