Boo, winter. Less sunlight = less food generated by a plant. Plus a lower average room temp, decreased humidity, and cold drafts for the guys close to windows... It's not your fault your your house plant appears to hate you in the winter 😘 Don't be tempted to give 'em more water though because they actually need a lot less than usual (around half)
Our newest lip balm offering is a delicious homage to the iconic and elusive spirit: Absinthe.
Invented by one Pierre Ordinaire, a French doctor who at the end of the eighteenth century distilled wormwood and other herbs in an alcoholic base as a remedy for his patients. By the end of the nineteenth century, absinthe was embraced by the artistic crowd concentrated in Paris, France. The green spirit would be poured over sugar and drank, it embodied liberation and creativity but also madness and despair to some.
Absinthe, or La Fée Vert, had a reputation of inducing euphoria and hallucinations, apparantly as a result of the thujones present in Wormwood - the key ingredient in the spirit.
Our lip balm is a delicious blend of anise, fennel and herbs with a touch of sweetness and a whisper of wormwood. Available now under limited edition on our website, get it before it disappears...
