I have been working on changing bad habits.
Luckily I have a health loving brother-in-law @jplosker & sister-in-law @jessaklemoine who motivate me.
I’m now reading aka listening to the audible book - Genius Foods
Which is all about using food to improve brain function & over all health.
Interesting read, highly recommend.
Stop waiting for the New Year to improve.
Start now. 💕

Learning how to navigate life after a relationship break down is sometimes really hard. Once you get through the fog of the break up, you begin to surface and you realise that life is different now.
Your friends are probably in relationships still and now you feel like the third wheel. You agree to blind dates with their friends of friends and maybe it’s fun but it’s not what you are looking for.
Do things that make you feel good. Things that make you feel like you again. Find things to do that you enjoy. How you learn to fill your life will open up new experiences for you.
It’s definitely okay to be on your own, to find joy in your own company. Being on your own isn’t a bad thing. It’s a time in your life when you can begin to live life by your own rules. Do the things you stopped doing.
Go to the movies on your own, take yourself out on a date and spoil yourself. Sit in that bubble bath for an hour without anyone interrupting you. Go on a holiday.
It’s a different kind of freedom. It’s a time when you can rediscover yourself.

I walk by this Holocaust Memorial every day to and from my Boston office. Today, for the first time, I decided to stop and take a photo. Erected in 1995, the memorial is comprised of 6 glass towers — each representing one of 6 major extermination camps. The number 6 has other significant meanings: the 6 million Jews killed during the Holocaust; the 6 years during which the “Final Solution” was carried out; or the 6 candles in a menorah. The glass panels on these 6 towers are engraved with millions of numbers, representing the tattoos the Nazis branded the Jewish people with. Steam constantly rises up into each tower through metal grates over a dark floor with twinkling lights — symbolizing the burning chambers used by the Nazis. When you walk through these glass towers and the pockets of steam, your thoughts immediately imagine the horror so many people (young and old, male and female) experienced. And, as you can see in this photo, it is an eerie sight when you happen to glimpse the shadow of a person emerging from the steam. This memorial was spearheaded by Polish-born Boston resident Stephan Ross, who survived 10 (YES 10 😨) labor and extermination camps as a child — including Auschwitz. After surviving unspeakable torture, such as being forced to drink chemicals during medical experiments and having his back broken, he was liberated by U.S. troops at Dachau in April 1945. The only member of his family to survive was his brother. Someday, I will visit some of the former camps that remain in Europe. It will be unbearably hard, but so very important to do. ☮️🙏

Parish Family Spotlight: Mary Delapp! This amazing woman does and has done more than you know for our church and our parish, from faith formation to children's liturgy to the giving tree to helping keep the church clean and decorated and beautiful and so much more. Her husband and children also contrubute and have contributed to the life of MPB, through altar service, lectoring, ushering, etc. Just a few weeks ago she received some much-deserved recognition when she received a 2018 Cheverus Award from Cardinal O'Malley! In her own words: "My uncle use to say, 'Don’t keep the faith, spread it.' And that’s what I like the most, spreading the faith. For me there is no greater joy than preparing children to receive their first Eucharist or bringing the Eucharist to the homebound." Congratulations, Mary! We love and appreciate you beyond words! 😊

SETTING GOALS / MANIFESTING
Sometimes the most important thing to do
Is to let go of every pre-conceived notion that you have
Regarding what it is that you desire.
Start from a blank canvas,
Free from pre-judgment.
Start from limitless possibility.

Smiling real hard over here right now because your girl has a HUGE non-scale victory to share! I had to get all dressy this morning , before I got home and IMMEDIATELY changed into the norm- yogas and a tshirt 😂. The last time I wore dress pants I was squeezing into them, they BARELY fit. BUT today... not necessary😀 Its only TWO WEEKS into my new program and Ive already dropped a few pounds AND feel SO much better . So happy I started... but I mean YOU could join me too girl?
