I tried to carry all available books on my TBR list but then decided I needed to add a few more for a more accurate representation of the neverending list😂😂 I finished The Bear and the Nightingale and I freaking loved it. It's woven from the same cloth as Spinning Silver, but it's definitely less dense. If Spinning Silver seems intimidating, I'd recommend going with TB&TN first! The plot isn't immediately apparent but the writing is so evocative. Everytime I'd think "okay one more chapter AND THATS IT GO TO BED IT'S 1 AM", I'd find myself continually turning the pages. Vasya put a spell on me; I was completely lost in her story and in pastoral Russia. I'm onto the sequel now! After this Vengeful and Kingdom of Ash are the highest on my TBR because they came out ages ago and I still haven't finished reading them😂 What are some books high on your TBR?

... I captured the rabbit, and stood with it in my arms, soothing it and covertly watching Bill.
Presently he looked up at me of his own accord.
"Well, Doc, I've done it," he said. "Life can be duplicated. Isn't the secret of it simple? Just pump the blood through the viens until the creature's own heart-pump begins to work in sympathy! Why, we've by-paased all Schrodinger's work!"
I nodded silently.
"The hardest part still remains," he said unexpectedly.
"To summon the nerve to ask Rob if he will consent to a duplicate of Lena being made - for me!"
The rabbit escaped from my suddenly loosened arms.

¬ i honestly love visiting art galleries and museums. especially, when i'm the only person there. it's quiet; almost an eerie-kind of quiet, but there's also a sort of serenity in being alone with the historical walls and artifacts and paintings. it feels as if you're in a small corner of the universe that's been ripped away from the fabric of reality. in the moment it's surreal, and i think that is what i admire about being alone in galleries and museumsm. ♡
¬ do you enjoy art galleries and museums? is there one you want to visit?
¬ for me, definitely the van gogh museum in amsterdam. ♡

Do you read indie books?
I admittedly don’t pick them up as often as I probably should.
Postcard from Paris is an amazing book. I found myself totally swept up in this story following Poppy’s journey to Paris.
The dialogue was witty, the characters all had their own quirks which made them so endearing, and I just loved this read.
If you want to read my full review, you can find it on my blog (link in bio) and I also have a link on there where you can find this book for 99 cents on amazon!

QOTD: How many tbr do you guys have?
Day 1 of
Yey!!! August TBR!💝 Halu halu everybody🤗.. It's been quite a while since I last posted a photo because I got sick and I'm still recovering from flu. I missed a lot in school, huhu. Stay safe everyone💖.. I only have few finished reads but I do have a lot of TBR, some are ebooks because physical copies are quite pricey but of course physical copies are still the best! I only have few physical books and I have more copies in ebook. These are my chosen books for August tbr😎. Haha
Tuesday is like that person at party that said they were there but no one remembers. It's a day, we know it happens but who really remembers Tuesday? I did do a late workout(which I hate because I drink so much and you shouldn't do that before bed 😂) and I also snuck a couple pictures in FINALLY!
Guys this is the February @spearcraftbookbox and is quite possibly my favorite box Laura has done since the launch box (that I also bought). Everything in this box is awesome and the socks are SUPER cute 💕 I've made sure to tag all of the shops in the picture (swipe to see a close up), make sure you check them out! Also, you have a little longer to grab the March box which is going to to beyond awesome! Subscribe and save when you use TIFF10 😉
I don’t know what took me so long to read The Idea of You, but I *finally* did... and I 1000% get the hype now! 😍 #theideaofyou#enwreads

What are you looking forward to this week?
Tomorrow, I'm going to a signing to see @tricialevenseller and @alexandrachristowrites in Minneapolis! I met Tricia last year and am looking forward to seeing her again. Author events are always so much fun! Though I think this is the first time I'll only have 2 books and not an enormous stack!
Did Layne and I tell you that we are currently writing separately? We are still promoting RU together and talk daily, but we are running with our own ideas currently.
My grandfather died two years ago in January, and I started writing something back then. I put it down for a good long while. Grandma died a year ago in February and I decided it was time, with Layne’s encouragement, to pick it back up. It’s been fun, scary, and exciting to make space to continue writing and see where this story leads.
As a single mom, finding time is difficult. If you swipe left through the photos you will see the state of my house but I decided to not care. I’ve been using all my “free time” to work on financial stuff #adulting and since most of that is all done I decided to let the housework slide and sit down to write. - Lindsay 💕 #blakeandbeckner
The other day I was sitting at the bar of a Brooklyn coffee shop, nervously sipping my latte while I prepared for the launch of #awomanisnoman (which was scheduled to start moments later at @greenlightbklyn), when I looked across the room to find @ffmirza, author of #APlaceForUs , typing into her laptop. I recognized her immediately, and the next thing I knew I had stood up, walked over to her table, tapped on her shoulder, and said, “I’m sorry to bother you, but I just wanted to say that I loved your novel and you’re even more beautiful in person.” She replied, “Thank you so much. Can I give you a hug?” Aww!💕 After a small conversation, I told her I was an author too and that my event was in a few minutes at the bookstore next door. She said she was sorry she couldn’t make it, but she would love to read the book. We said goodbye and I headed next door to @greenlightbklyn to prepare for the event. A few moments later, @ffmirza walked into the bookstore, bought #awomanisnoman , and asked me to sign it. Long story short: you know when you like an author based on her work but then you meet her and instantly fall in love with her character even more? That’s what happened with me. Forever a fan of @ffmirza. ✨

Oh my gosh, I finished The Infernal Devices trilogy this morning and I’m just blown away. I honestly didn’t think I would love it as much as I did. But these characters....they are just amazing!!
Also, Clockwork Princess broke my soul several times over during the 500+ pages 😩😭😩😭
QOTD: What was the last book that made you cry?
