I'm not much of an artist but I've made an effort at making a little showcase in my living room of the different things I love to do.
1. Down nest with marble egg.
2. Antler fishing stick carved like kukukkpaalik parka on whale bone stand.
3. Whale vertebrae with harpoon heads.
4. Fish skin leather.
Welcome to #CapeladosOssos, a 17th Century chapel within a church in #evora adorned with human bones in order to evoke reflection on the fleetingness of life, initially for the monks who used to use the space for meditation and prayer but now for all of us lucky enough to venture to Evora. The #bones themselves are from some 42 16th Century monastic cemeteries that were taking up too much real estate. Unique, isn’t it? Would you visit?
