« Bare chest on full display in unbuttoned silk blouses, razor-blade hip bones peeking out from low-slung, impossibly tight blue jeans, and wild, Pre-Raphaelite blond curls cascading down his back.
His onstage look was as disruptive as his heavy-metal falsetto. »
Robert Plant, 1977.
(Once again, tks to @virgosabbath for these HQ pictures)
An electric guitar strung and tuned like a 5 string banjo with a G drone as the 2nd string... Just to make it look like I can play guitar! (Cheers to Patsy Toman for the set up and Jonny Toman for the idea)

A little gimmicky
Ⓜ️Ⓜ️This week’s #MondayMotivator is Mr. B.B. KingⓂ️Ⓜ️ When was the first time you listened to B.B. King? And what song was it?🤔 _______________________________________

This is such beautiful playing and makes me miss B.B. King more than I already do. Listen to how he struck a note. B always got the rap of being a minimalist, but there’s so much technical proficiency going on in this playing it’s unreal. The intonation and vibrato, the dynamics - I dare you to listen and not hum a little “whoa.” There’s another level to it all, past the standard metrics... BB was right there. Beyond mastery lies wizardry. ⚡️🙏🏼⚡️h/t @guitarsarebetter
