~ Brown Honeyeater~ This is the first sighting of this species for me! Very happy to learn about this bird! This honeyeater is primarily an insect eater, often probing into the bark of on the trunk and branches. They'll also feed on nectar on the outermost flowers. This inquisitive bird FOUND ME in Kuringai National Park.

On my way to Tso Lhamo ( India's highest lake ) I came across a huge flock of birds which was flying from one mountain to another. I stopped the car and started climbing the rocky mountian, it was -11℃ that morning. The flock was sitting like 20 to 30 meters above me but when I reached the place I was bamboozled. Couldn't spot a single bird.
At 17,000ft after the climb I was really having some breathing problems. Suddenly something moved from one rock to another and kaboom I spotted the first Altai accentor😆. I never imagined these little fellas can camouflage so well😏. Altai accentor from the Tibetan Plateau.
