*Lengthy post. It's religious so if you're not into that, keep scrolling!*
So I have been completely on the struggle bus lately. Not with fitness, not with nutrition, but with something that took me a while to pin point what it was.
It has been bothering me for a couple weeks. I could feel that something was off and until tonight, I didn't know what it was.
11 months ago I felt stuck. I felt that I was losing a sense of who I was because going from working full time for 10 years to becoming a SAHM really put a toll on me and made me feel closed in (despite my introverted, socially awkward self) and craving something to do for ME. So around that same time I decided it was time to reconnect my relationship with God. It had been YEARS since I had been to church and despite prayers every night, that is about how far our relationship went.
Getting the kids baptized was something really important to me and Kylie was 2.5, procrastination at its finest. I reached out to our Catholic church and found out that they were hosting a Baptism class just a couple weeks away. So I signed us up! I also decided to look into confirmation for myself to complete my sacraments. Well... again, these are classes that do not get hosted often and there was a group of classes that started in a couple weeks too! It was a sign.
The kids got baptized May 6th and I got confirmed May 20th! I went all in on my faith. I was so excited, I had this sense of peace over me and it was the BEST feeling. Since I was struggling with personal stuff, I prayed for a sign of something that I could do for myself. Something that preferably would help with our monthly income! I randomly ran across an Instagram ad about becoming a Fitness Influencer and making money from home all while getting fit and helping others. Talk about my DREAM job!

Never wait until the end of your life to realize you have not live to fully love.
Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Obscure=•Darken•Hide•Vague•Uncertain
Job obscured God's plans for his prosperity by "condemning God in an attempt to justify himself" (Job 40:8). 🚫Job blamed everyone from his children to God for what was happening in his life...But in reality, it was his own mental focus and internal feelings that were the cause of his loss and "captivity." Without "knowing" it, Job had become a slave (captive) to sin. John 8:34 "Jesus replied, 'Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.'" Whenever we BLAME someone else or even God for WHY things are a certain way, we are condemning them (finding them guilty)... And thus, we condemn ourselves. Luke 6:37 "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven." To please God, we must take responsibility for our lives by refusing to accept the suggestions of appearances and choosing to have faith. Hebrews 11:6 "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." Because until we eliminate fear, doubt, and uncertainty... We cannot overcome the consequences of sin. Romans 14:23 "But whoever has doubts is condemned.... and everything that does not come from faith is sin." God has plans to prosper you and not to harm you. If your life appears to contradict this truth, then there is only one reason: YOU. Because YOU continue to "obscure" God's plans with your negative thoughts and emotions... With YOUR fearful expectations for the future... With your resentment and bitter heart full of complaints and false justifications. Jeremiah 17:10 “I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.” If you will quiet your mind and heart in prayer, you will remove the mental and emotional clutter obscuring God's plans to pros
So happy to wake up to reviews like this! Thank you, Rachel!
★★★★★ "Absolutely in LOVE with the character these tabs added to my new bible! I decided it was time to shelf my old bible and order a new one. I went with a Journal the Word reference bible by Thomas Nelson and these tabs match it perfectly! She even sends a few other little freebies with your order. To me, that really says a lot about her love for her shop and customers! I didn’t go with the gift packaging, but her regular is beautiful! She pays attention to every detail down to her packaging. The tabs are very easy to apply and shipped on the day they were supposed to. I will be ordering more for my teenage daughters new bible as well."
I’m here again today 9-3! Come see me, friends! Only one set of #bibletabs left but lots of pretty #journalingbible for you to scoop up!❤️📖 Oh, and 12/1 class is SOLD OUT but I’ll post another date soon so stay tuned!
