Since we started going on trips together...even before we set out on this adventure, we’ve always been in search of the best views. Armed with a couple books, fruit, and water, we walked up a pretty steep hill to this spot in Barcelona, and read and snacked away while waiting for sunset over the city.
The Jurassic coast is a world heritage site on the English Channel coast of southern England. It has a 185 million years of geological history.
A day trip to this place in summer is worth, beautiful scene, mountains and a beach to relax upon.
This bedroom at 215 Feilding Ave contains so much magic.🔮💔
The @schillersalvage stained glass that peeps into the kitchen.
The perfectly petite window.
The exposed (original) 20’s staircase.
The tongue & groove ceiling.
The sliding barn door entry....
We’re so very close to wrapping up this project & can’t wait to reveal this 1 bedroom 1 bath for rent in Hyde Park! 🙌
A view not normally photographed. Sahale Falls is one of the most well known and powerful waterfalls is Oregon. Located right off the highway it attracts tens of thousands of visitors each year. Many people what to experience the waterfall up close using this unofficial trail, turning the fragile mossy ecosystem into a mud hole.
The Forest Service has put up signs and blocked the trail closing it for restoration. Visitors in turn remove the signs and barriers.
Any photos of people at the base of Sahalie or Koosha Falls required those people to walk off the main trail causing natural resource damage. These actions can bring about fines and or jail time. Many people claim ignorance because the signs saying “don’t do that” are gone.
This is why the Leave No Trace principles are so important. The goal of Leave No Trace is to educate others to look more closely at how their actions personally impact the outdoors. Signs or not, walking into places like this can cause long term damage to the most beautiful and unique outdoor locations. Posting and reposting images of people in these areas only encourages others to follow that behavior.
How much do we care about these natural places to put them first? For more info see @unethicaloutdoors most recent post.
