Just because you have big goals doesn’t mean you’ll be a success
Truth is, both losers and winners all have goals, often times they have the SAME goals
So what’s the difference?
The key comes down to the day-to-day ACTION you must take to achieve your goals
You gotta DO THE WORK and not everyone is willing to do the work
Think about detaching your goals from the day-to-day actions you need to take and just focus in on DOING THE WORK day in and day out no matter what
Your goals will more than likely take care of themselves and the results will come
Nothing else matters unless you do the work anyways 👍🏻

So. Don’t expect to be motivated every day to get out there and make things happen. You won’t be. Don’t count on motivation. Count on Discipline.

FREEDOM OF TIME —
I think that this is something that we could ALL agree on with wanting MORE of, right?
I have ALWAYS been the one saying, “I don’t have time for that”.. “I wish I had more time for..”— the list goes on. This especially hit home when I was “wishing” I had more time with my father who passed away in 2014.
I started as a virtual wellness coach in June of 2015 with my schedule JAM packed! Finishing my degree with graduation 👩🎓 that month, getting proposed to 💍 the night before my graduation, working about 30-hours every week, dedicated to church and, FAMILY LIFE of course! OH- and, I had a workout club membership where I was paying $30/month to rarely ever go 🙄 busy, eventually turned into way more stress than I could handle with many other life stressors — we ALL HAVE THEM. But, this doesn’t mean that we ALL have to live this way. It’s a CHOICE. Yes, we need to make a living. But, isn’t life meant for more than just LIVING? 🧐
I started coaching full-time at the beginning of last June, 2018. Don’t get me wrong, before I started coaching full-time, I LOVED being a phlebotomist at Mass General. But, the daily commute via commuter rail, being out of the house for over 10+ hours MONDAY-FRIDAY — this was taking even more of a toll on me. I felt beyond blessed to be in that position, but 2018 was also one of the hardest years for me (story for another post 🙃). I knew it was time that I took a BOW to take care of ME & to stop letting BUSY & STRESS rule my life. Stupid to leave a secure job? You might say that, say what you want 🤷🏽♀️. But, personally, I think it’s silly to put your mental, physical and emotional health on the back burner to make a living because it WILL catch up to you sooner or later.
It’s crazy to think that from one day to the next, things can change — imagine what MONTHS could do? Needless to say, I’m FOREVER thankful for the hardships I’ve endured up to this point and for taking a huge leap of faith to pursue WHY I started coaching in 2015: FREEDOM OF TIME. Now, I dictate MY busy.
FREEDOM OF TIME was once my “wish” and now, it’s my lifestyle. 🙏🏽 you have the power to dictate yours too! 😉💕

Rest and quiet times are just as important for your health as exercise and your nutrition.
