BED INVADERS 🍁 Did you know that out two oldest sizes 12/18months & 18/24months are footless. Perfect for walking & running in.
But don’t blame us if you’re bed gets invaded by a crazed toddler at 6am !
I thought this one was in her own bed. Chris came home from work and said he will pop up and close her door (something we sometimes do once she is fully asleep) he found her in my bed fast asleep! I couldn't resist taking a photo 😍
“Mummy!!!! I’m scared” were the words that bellowed from their room. I didn’t have the energy or motivation to resist this tiny human invading my bed. Invade is what she did. Arms all over the place, her legs all over the place, a bottle in my face many times. She’s usually my easiest to cosleep with but definitely not last night. Forgetting my disrupted sleep, I love knowing that I’m the one she wants to snuggle with to make her feel safe. ♥️♥️ #sleeping#cosleeping#bedinvader#tuesdaymorning#disruptedsleep#safestplace#comfort
Bed invader - I can’t remember the last time that JP ended up in our bed (mainly because he’s now 10 & nearly 5ft!) but after a bad night of hot flushes & then JP appearing at the side of my bed at 4.30am having had a nightmare about terrorists I was to tired to negotiate or come up with a plan! #workingmumontherun#hotflushes#bedinvader#nightmares#tootiredtonegotiate

I had a #bedinvader last night. So tired today, snuggles were amazing though 💜 #myboy
Beware of bed invaders, they infiltrate the bed in the middle of the night looking small and harmless but can cause sleep deprivation and bruising from when they fling limbs around. They also come in different disguises, this one is different to the one we had last night. Be on your guard!!!! #bedswap#sleepdeprived#lifewithchildren#bedinvader

I’ve missed my littlest one so much. Words can not describe how much I love each of my children, how everything I do is about them, for them & with them. I’m having a cheeky night with her in my bed as I just need a snuggle. Although it would appear Ivy is suffering from “restless legs”. This is something I suffer with and have done for as long as I can remember. She’s crying in pain, crying because she’s tired and just very uncomfortable. It’s hard to watch as I know how this feels.
Today I’ve done very little as my body is feeling drained and weak. I think I’ve pushed myself this week, Friday night & Saturday that today my body has finally said NO! Tomorrow could be interesting.
So the teen had a friend over last night and they decided to pull an all nighter 🤣 if you think a tired toddler is painful, try a tired teenager 🤣 the boy came out of his pit and watched a film with me (new transformers) and princess has been my shadow!
I need to find my big girl pants as this week is a busy one.
B E D * I N V A D E R!! I knew I should have basked in the beauty of sleep on the weekend as last night we had a bed invader. When she snuggles and cuddles it’s the most wonderful and adorable thing in the world. When she kicks you, whacks you in the face and steals your pillow.... I am tempted to roll her onto the floor and whisper “survival of the fittest”! #BedInvader#Parenting#tryhardmothering
We had such a good day yesterday at @paultonspark (it’s the first time we’ve ever been!) celebrating Harry’s little pal Phoebes birthday. I can’t believe how much there is to do there, I feel like we barely scratched the surface and need to go back next week 😅 The day ended on a downer for Harry though, who was sick 8-9 times through the evening/night so had to stay in mamas bed. (I jinxed it after letting slip that he’d never slept in bed with us - not since co sleeping as a newborn!) I’m not sure whether the day was so fun he couldn’t handle it or he had a nasty tummy bug, he’s been much better today though. .
