I have been actively trying to reduce my sugar content.
Half of my family is diabetic, so it is important that I take measures to manage my sugar intake. I laughed when I saw this list, Young Camille did not like #molasses. Coconut sugar is a sugar, I use frequently for baking.

Plan to succeed, or you plan to fail. This is preparation and execution looks like. This is how I show up to work on Monday. I don’t want to hit the vending machines, and ordering out frequently won’t help me meet my goals.
This is a pain in the ass, to be sure. The alternative is worse though. I want to be around long enough to love on my children’s children’s children. With a sound mind and functioning faculties.
Too many men I’ve known have died. Young men, whose hearts have given out on them. Men in their 40s, up to their 60s. Being a tough guy doesn’t mean dying for your loved ones, I’ve learned that it means living for them.
Eggs ... best breakfast!
5 minutes to prepare for a school/work breakfast to keep bodies full & focused longer
Steam 3-4 asparagus spears, sliced in half, in the pan with a little water for 2 minutes. Remove & Set aside.
Melt butter, pour in 2 beaten eggs. Scatter half with asparagus, 20g halloumi & sprinkle parmesan.
Fold the omelette in half. Cover & cook to liking.

Wow, I was SO hungry tonight. I feel like my body is craving more and more calories & I'm trying to listen, within reason. I hate to eat this late, especially this much, but I just got back from the gym AND I needed to cook the ground beef that had been in the fridge all week.
Burrito bowl with chips: ground beed, kidney beans, roasted corn, shredded cheese, and onions. I try to stay away from cheese and chips, but I managed to prep 2 more bowls in the process of making this dinner. So, Lord, give me the strenf to throw out what ever I don't use.

This is my 7 year old sister Juju. She has Type 1 Diabetes. Tomorrow (Nov. 14th) is World Diabetes Day. If you can, wear blue tomorrow to support research for a cure. Thank you :)
