Secret Beach camp setup and sunset. The sunrise was even more magical but phone thankfully died after I snapped this photo. Short walk to the right you can find the cliffs to drink from, the freshest & purest water on the island flows down for you to refill your water bottle or take a waterfall shower 🚿 #waterfallshower#spaday#beachcamping
Ventura is one of those places that I always passed through on my way to another destination, but after a recent day trip there I’ve realized what a spectacular place I’ve been missing out on! I took a ferry to Santa Cruz Island, hiked gorgeous coastal trails, spotted dolphins on the way back to the mainland, ate the best fish tacos of my life, walked the pier, set up camp on the beach, watched the sunset over the Pacific, and then roasted s’mores over the campfire all in one day! It was a lot but such a wonderful, happy day to remember. Ventura has left a great impression and since it is so close to LA, I will definitely be back to explore more. Stay tuned for more photos of my Ventura experience to come 🤗
Here I am writing away on the beach in Washington. I spent some time writing a new short story as well, which you can read by clicking the link in my bio. It's about a priest in the order of Apsis (not a real order of priests, but a word which is defined essentially as the two points on any planet furthest away from each other and the sun). .
I like the story a lot; it's different than the short stories I've been writing. And it took me four sittings to finish.

Last week we got to go camping at one of my favorite favorite places on earth! Setting up our tent in the sand along the beautiful beach campground on the south PCH. 🙌🏻🙌🏻 from this very beach we get to see dolphins daily, watch fish jump in the surf and sometimes even spot whales depending on the time of the year! 😍😍 This was a much needed vacation from the chaos that was the beginning of August. #myhappylittlefamily#beachcamping#beachdays#thehathaways
Making a natural first aid kit or even just keeping oils with you all of the time for various “what if’s” is a must!! We are headed to the beach today and I have my bag well stocked with my oils for any situation + my anxiety/stress oils too.
