After 2+ hard weeks, which triggered a battle against my depression, I'm waking up refreshed today! I'm determined, and ready to face a new day.
Real talk: I stopped tracking, or even thinking about what I ate, I binged a little, but more just mindless eating. The program I've been following all but forgotten. Avoiding the scale, as I knew it would only fuel my depression, rather than encourage change.
Today, with new determination I woke up and stepped on the scale. I'm so happy to share that I ruined nothing. I'm only up 3 lbs, and am ready to follow this program anew. I am ready to keep on this 100 lb journey, I know there will be more struggles and bumps along the way, but 1 step back with 3 steps forward is still progress! Day 1 of intermittent fasting and so far the liquids are going good. I bypassed the yummy looking food in the dining room but I want this and want results. I’ll be having my 3 meals like normal but way later. I fast from 8 at night till 12 in the afternoon. When I wake up only liquids till 12 and then I’ll have my shakeology shake which I can’t wait for and then I have to figure out what I’ll have for my lunch/dinner. Lots of yummy veggies and protein to keep me full and enough calories. I’ll be doing my workouts a bit later than normal as well. Like my workout program will be after breakfast time in the afternoon and I may not be doing the treadmill anymore for the time being. Now this is not necessarily innovative or new information to some, protein shakes have been something I have tried through the years. Mostly with my mom as she was exploring different nutrition products through her gym. At that time she and I got adept at “doctoring” our shakes to make them taste less like chalky protein and more like a milkshake. Because even when focusing on fitness who doesn’t want to enjoy the taste of dessert! I have been drinking Shakeology for about a month now and though this product has been out for sometime this is my first time trying it! And I can say this shake mix requires little to no “doctoring” I am adding skim milk and ice but that is it. Day 1: INTERMITTENT FASTING
Liquids till 12 when I’ll have my first meal my shake with more liquids still. I can have water, herbal tea, and BLACK COFFEE with sweet n low (has no calories). #weightloss#plantbaseddiet#beachbodycoach
We’re half way through the week, which means I’m only half way through my workout week! Anyone else having a hard time getting into the swing of things? 6am workouts are kind of kicking my butt (as in, can’t get up)🤣 Thank god @jam3m3s keeps me accountable.

Why do we let our “bad days” or “bad moments” decide our worth, our life, our motivation, our effort?
Listen friend. Every day you are winning. You are either winning at proving your negative subconscious thoughts about yourself and your life right OR you are kicking those thoughts in the face and going for what YOU really want. The trick is understanding the difference.
Once you can recognize that even when you fail, your subconscious is winning, you can check yourself and try again.
Don’t let bad moments steal the joy from your day. Because tomorrow won’t be free from struggle and neither will 5 years from now, the struggle will just look different. Choose to win.
Eye squeezed shut because planks absolutely suck. ☠️ Amazing how 30 minutes of planks and burpees can make you want to die yet afterward you’re rewarded with a surge of energy and self empowerment. I’ll take it 🙌

Happy Wednesday People!! I’m on day #3 of Round #3 of 80 day obsession! I was thinking to myself this morning, this time last year you would have never seen me getting up at 4 am to workout, like ever lol it was actually a month later last year that I started my journey with beachbody so come November I will be at this an entire year! I really want to do a challenge group starting in October which is a super fun way to stay accountable and it is so rewarding to help lift others up and just be girls empowering girls instead of being caddy or mean.

Y’all! Can I tell you how thankful I am for Beachbody?! This is a 6 week transformation photo. I am finishing up the last two weeks of my current program.
