Cruising a ridgeline in stealth mode Chris and I ran into this future elk fajita feeding across the sage flat. Pinned down behind a fence with basically no cover and upwind of this bull we kneeled down, quickly sprayed some elk pee and waited. Luck had it that he fed right to us and turned broadside at 20 yards. Waiting for the right moment to draw I pulled back, whistled to get him to stop and slipped an arrow through the barbed wire fence and into the beach ball target in front of me. I love fajitas, new hat racks, beach ball targets, burley mountain men to pack out said hat racks and lady luck.
#TBT to when I was in DC with the girls, feeling BEACHY after our conference. It’s been a blessing getting to make new friends, travel & experience amazing personal & professional development. This has been the most fun time & I can’t wait to see what future Throw Back Thursdays hold for me!!
A new twist on one of my old favorites. These tiny beachballs can be purchased at only one place,
Tim Collom Gallery. With holiday parties coming up, these little ones make for a perfect hostess gift.
