While I’m ready for Spring, I’m not ready for this Spring project. Probably going to have to re-seed the entire backyard since it’s pretty much covered in sand. All of our projects from this point on are probably geared more towards the general upkeep of the restorations we’ve already done, while keeping in mind we’d like to sell soon after Lillian graduates from high school. Strange to think that at some point, some other family will call this place home and will be able to enjoy this backyard, but hopefully they’ll have just as many wonderful memories as we have. #battenkillriver#arlingtonvermont
The Crandall Public Library Folklife Center developed a 30 episode mini-video documentary series called “Battenkill Inspired: The Flow of Creativity, Ingenuity, and the River.” Each episode focuses on how different elements of the Battenkill River has inspired important historical figures, conservationists, artists, poets, and other creators.
