Who says you can't do desert on keto? 😍 For me keto isn't a diet, it's really become (and will stay) a lifestyle. So I make it work for me - in all aspects of my life.
Low carb chocolate cake, hazelnut flavoured whipped cream and some of my accidental fudge. Yummy!
I attended a function over the weekend were desert was served. So I took our own desert with. Luckily this was a setting where I could do that. If it wasn't, I would just have skipped theirs and had ours when we got home. No need to be deprived.
Lunch! This is more of a carnivore snack plate (which is right up my alley), but then there's the low carb bread and sugar-free jam for balance ☺️ Smoked game, game biltong, droëwors, Jagdwurst, Camembert, low carb bread, and tantalize strawberry jam. Was delicious.
Remember, this might not be your style of keto, but I follow a high protein, moderate fat keto approach.

F U D G E!! Well, Accidental Fudge 😏😁 You guys! This has got to be one of my best keto moments!
Last night I attempted the Caramel from @elle_herself 's Caramel Slices recipe (it's in her highlights). And it's was one of the best things I've had on keto yet! And then I later realised that I'd followed the recipe wrong 🤦🏻♀️ Or rather, I'd doubled it, but I'd forgotten to also double the butter. Queue Accidental Fudge. 💃🏻🤸🏻♀️🙌🏻 No complaints here.
To me it tastes exactly like fudge - you know, the kind your Ouma made. That you can sometimes still buy at a till or garage. Only so much more rich, decadent and dreamy 😍
I will definitely be making this again and again. Next time I'll do the Caramel slices with the almond base and chocolate ganache top.
