I’ve taken my 2nd month off all hamstring-related workouts (and work schedule doesn’t line up with my usual classes 😢). I’m at least super happy to announce that I can engage my glutes properly 💪🏻🤩🤩 but yes, will post more class werk this coming week👌🏻
Announcement! In case you haven’t heard, I illustrated my very first children’s book! I love the story my friend Lauren Gebauer wrote. It’s about resilience, hope, and believing in yourself. You preorder a signed hardcover at this link or paperback will be available on Amazon in 13 days! #childrenslit#hope#ballerina#cometofindout

".....Celebrating the talent and achievements of Misty Copeland who turned 36 last week. 💃🏾
An unlikely ballerina, she discovered ballet when she was 13. At the time she was living in a motel with her parents and five siblings. A true prodigy she was dancing professionally within a year of her first class. A feat unheard of in professional dance circles. She took the ballet world by storm, joining the American Ballet Theatre’s Company in 2000. By 2007 she became their first African-American soloist in 2 decades and in 2015 she was promoted to principal dancer/prima ballerina making her the first African-American woman in this position in the 75-year history of the ballet company."
