Why do we lack confidence?
Well, if I knew I would tell you. Because lately I have been lacking a bit of it. Looking at myself in the mirror and seeing someone that is weak. Someone that puts herself down. And a woman that doesn’t feel good enough. This is something I have struggled with my whole life. I always try and put a smile on my face because I never want someone’s day to be ruined because of my negative energy. So I put on a smile to make their day and try to ignore how I’m feeling.
This is unhealthy, not feeling good enough is unhealthy. Lacking confidence is very unhealthy. We are all beautiful, strong, and worth it. No matter the struggles in life that are thrown at us. Keep going, you are a strong bad ass. Trust me, it’s something I’m working on too. Take a moment first thing in the morning to tell yourself. I’m amazing and I’m going to kick ass today because I’m a freaking rock star ⭐️
Week 4 day 3 done! Stop making excuses! Stop holding yourself back. I hear these excuses so much!

Why? Why? Why?
Why not put yourself first? Why not challenge yourself? Why not make time?

Really? No babes, going from this overweight to my progress, of losing all the excess body fat and getting fit as you see in the middle, and now taking it further to muscle gain and strength, you see on the right, is not explained by genes. “Genes” and “circumstances” way too often becomes the excuse and a pillow we fall asleep on. Achievements has everything to do with hard work, 1000 hours, upon 1000 hours of hard training. It has everything to do with 100 % focus at nutrition, which didn’t come easy, to find out how to, I studied both human nutrition and sports nutrition and got two degrees, before I actually decided to make it my profession. I also became a certified personal trainer in the progress in order to lean how to really make the results I wanted. All my studies I did for myself to reach my outrageous goal I had set, a goal, which had everything to do with being healthy and happy. I was in search of finding my way out of depression, in search of elevating serotonin and endorphins naturally. And yes it can be greatly done by nutrition and hard training. Mindset is paramount. Meditation. Visualisation. Actually feeling that we are improving every single day beats the hell out of depression. Returning to my body was huge as well, (living in post traumatic stress the most of my life), feeling so alive, strong, confident and full of energy is amazing. At the small photos you can see me when I was overweight after giving birth to my three amazing kids, the body fat stayed until I chose to do something drastically about it.
