Donnerstag war wegen dem dicken rechten Vorderbein der Tierarzt da. Beugeprobe war negativ und Puschi absolut unbeeindruckt davon. Nun bekommt er bis morgen noch "provisorisch" Schmerzmittel und wir kühlen das Bein 2-3 x am Tag. Zusätzlich bekommt er das Bein mit Quark eingeschmiert, was ja auch eine kühlende Wirkung hat. Nun habe ich mir gedacht... "Hey... Du hast doch die BOT Gamaschen und ein Kühl Pac zu Hause..." Also habe ich das Innenleben von der BOT Gamasche raus genommen und das Kühl Pac in ein Handtuch gewickelt und es mit der Gamasche fixiert. Funktioniert 💪🏼 Das Bein ist seit Donnerstag schon wesentlich dünner geworden und der Herr wird jetzt schon unausstehlich... Taking the week off to spend with my husband and family has been absolutely amazing and relaxing!
I have completely slowed it down a notch this week and made a promise to myself to take time after our wedding to relax as a family! This isn't a bad thing but for me it's HARD as heck to chill, to take time off from what I love! So needless to say I have decided that this week is going to be about exercising in a different way with my family, reorganizing my life after a beautiful weekend of celebrating US, relaxing with my family, rejuvenating, catching up on sleep, hiking, biking, and reflecting with my husband!! We have been enjoying our much needed and well deserved 3 day mini-moon!! ❤️ 💍 ☀️ 🍻 -

After not working out at all last week and eating, well...very badly, I made an effort to get back into the swing of things again this week. It was not easy and I will admit that I had a few bad cheat treats this week too. I know that my body needed that break, but maaan, I felt like a total blob! It is amazing how easy it is for us to fall into bad habits and become lazy. I am all for listening to your body and if you workout a lot it is important to give your body a break to recover. However, taking a break did not mean that I should have eaten so many bad things that, at the end of the day, made me feel unwell and did not benefit me in any way.
So, it is time for me to hop on that train back to good eating and healthy living habits.
Like I say, look after your body and your body will look after you!

I remember when i first saw the pic from May and feeling so defeated. I knew i hadn’t totally come back from pregnancy but hadn’t really looked at myself for some time. -
When i first became pregnant I had JUST finally felt like I found my strength and a home in my own body. After years of not feeling like my body reflected who i really was, I felt I had gotten to know myself & “fit” in my shell. Then, pregnancy changed everything. Beyond my control I changed entirely and embraced it as best i could. -
In May, I realized that I only found myself previously after consistent caring for myself, and that I’d never find myself again without doing that. -
I know how it feels to lose yourself here & there and I know there are many women out there feeling it RIGHT NOW. I’m here to tell you that this is only one season in your life and that IF you take control, you won’t feel this way forever. -
It takes time, patience, support & consistency, but you are still the you you’ve always been and you can do anything you truly decide to do. -

Sooo... the last couple days I've been feeling pretty crappy... I've put on 11lbs!!! 😮😔😭 I finally pulled my head out of my ass this morning after feeling really de-motivated and "what's the point?" My gym instructor and personal trainer @mfc_donny put an amazing before and after post on fb. It reminded me how far I've come! I've put weight on because I'm happy in my life, not because I've lost my goals!! I just need to tweak a few bits and I'll be back to where I was in no time! I love the direction my life is taking... it all seems to be falling into place! I just need to make some very small changes. 😁😍 I won't let one set back stop me!! 😁💪👊💥 thank you Ian and everyone at MFC for reminding me... I thank my daughter 😘 for making me wake up with the picture she took back in 2015. For opening my eyes to see what I had done with my body and health.
Now 3 years later more fit and healthier we enjoy our workout and hikes together.
I look at this picture now and ask myself How did I end up like that? Honestly I didn't see I had a problem. But pictures proves otherwise, looks that I couldn't even breath.

I haven’t posted in a looong time and honestly been very inconsistent as I’ve been working, studying (yes, u heard me - year 3 summer project = no summer) and generally getting used to life out of term time. My diet has been out of whack and I haven’t tracked at all, however I’ve started going back to the gym near where my job/uni is, have ordered a new wristband for my polar A360 watch and am tracking my food. Going to the gym is difficult when you’re working full time but I just make sure to get up early and not let myself think about it too much. So ready to get back on track, not sure how my legs are this lean when I’ve been filling up on many carbs and huge amounts of sugar recently (not to mention the takeaways due to both me and the boyfriend working full time - ofc I blame the bf) but I’ll take it and ruuuuunnn (on the treadmill, cry) xxx also aware the sun is not out, yes I am cold in these shorts❄️❄️❄️

Come se i cordoli fossero i muri di casa mia. Una casa che se sei fortunato puoi portarti anche in vacanza, che ti permette di sentirti a casa un po’ in ogni parte del mondo e che quando sei obbligato a non metterci piede ti manca e ti da un fondo di malessere e di malinconia.
Ecco oggi ricominciare a correrci mi ha fatto sentire bene, è stata la ciliegina sulla torta di queste ferie, avere un giorno in cui, senza aver fretta di scappare a lavoro o a casa, ho potuto correre e prendermi il tempo necessario ad eseguire tutta la mia routine pre e post allenamento. E stasera, andare a dormire con gambe e piedi doloranti dalle ripetute di oggi implica andare a letto con il sorriso. #runlovers
