Virtual rigging the @lamborghini Aventador S Roadster in Hawaii. I didn't have anyone else to use as a driver for this shoot, so I had to put my camera on a timer and jump in the seat myself. Not the easiest thing to do in an Aventador 😂 would you like to see a tutorial on these shots? Leave a comment!
242 MPH and YES, it's a Huracan with a DCT transmission!
Drag965's Underground Racing Twin Turbo Lamborghini Huracan equipped with the OEM DCT transmission resets it own record again with a 242 MPH standing 1/2 mile pass and dominates the WannaGoFast Dallas standing half mile event on Saturday. The Lamborghini DCT transmission system is very complex which makes it very difficult to modify to this level. This car alone has gone faster than any of our rival Lamborghini competitors, even their race cars that use dogbox transmissions have not reached the speed of our DCT Huracan.
This Huracan DCT gearbox has its internals upgraded with the Underground Racing EMCO billet gear set. The UR DCT wet clutch used was developed by Underground Racing and the manufacture working extensively together to create a clutch that has stock like drive ability and the ability to hold this incredible power. This clutch is exclusively available through Underground Racing and is not available anywhere else. The TCU is tuned by @KCHoweth. The engine management system is equipped with the JRR Plug & Play MoTeC M1 setup with custom coded firmware.
This speed was achieved using a cast block crossing the half mile mark at over 10,000 RPMs. The power level on this pass was approximately 2,500 whp with zero slip from the clutches. Expect to see this Huracan back out soon sporting the UR billet block allowing for the power and speed to be pushed up even further.
Great driving like always to @KCHoweth and great job to the UR Team and all involved in making this happen. Video coming soon!
Thank you @fa_tography for the great photo
