A bleak day in our household today. 😧
A beloved four legged family member passed away and a two legged member is in the ICU.
A sad reminder that life is fleeting. We must time find for the beautiful and the inspiring. For those things that make life worth living. .
Thank you for being my friend and supporter on Instagram.
What is Poem?
And why it needs a Poet?
Are poets too poesy and phoney
And authors writing novels
Are making more dovetails,
Connecting end to end
From the first drop of ink
Till the last point of pen.
Are writers are more from a literary community
And poets are more like logophile...
From the rarest commodity
Like a rare verselet.
Are best sellers are best of language
And poets are more into words manipulation?
Are novelist's are more wieldy
And poets write thoughts more mosaic?
Are writers are more engaging
And poets are more elaborate?
I don't have any answers for these clutched questions,
All I know that they're not heterogeneous from each other,
They're from the same
Homogeneous library of literature
They're both day dreamers,
They're both authors,
And they're both storytellers.
Today, is a very emotional day for me. It is the 6th year anniversary of my father’s passing. My Dad was an incredible human and the one who introduced me to the literary world. Being an avid reader himself, he always made sure our house had no shortage of books. In fact the night before he passed, I came home from college for spring vacation to find a stack of books I had been itching to read sitting on my bed. He thought my spring break would be a perfect time to unwind with this new series. It was the perfect present to get me through the hardest week of my life. My Dad was not only passionate about reading, but writing as well. He published his first book, A Reason for Dying in 2008. I am so incredibly proud he was able to accomplish this dream of his. His novel will always be the book I am most proud to display on my shelves. ❤️ So here’s to you Dad, I’m sure you’re getting a kick out of my bookstagram page! •
• #qotd 🌸: Who got you into reading?! Anyone special influence you to read or write?! —also, I apologize for the sentimental post! But I’m just so incredibly proud to not share! ❤️and yes, Colleen Hoover has her own shelf. She deserves it. 😂
What kind of conflicts do you have in your story? One of the bigger ones is probably progress versus preservation, because part of my story focuses on old traditions maintained in a society. What other forms of large-scale conflict do you like to write?

I apologize for the spotty posting, everyone! Ended up having to do a complete technological switch, but we're back in business! Normal posting (a few times per day) will resume tomorrow 😁
