What writing quote inspires you? #fantasywipjanuary#pinterestquotes
I found this on Pinterest and loved it! I had another quote I loved that I saw online, but I could not find it. So instead, I looked up a quote from my favorite writer C.S. Lewis. I love so many of his quotes not just this one! His imagination and world building are beyond anything I could imagine to write. Yet, I look to him as a huge inspiration to keep trying and never give up on my work. 💙
Not how I wanted to start this year, severe cold and it’s kicking my butt. But it won’t stop me! For every week of the new year, I’m posting a quote to inspire writers. I’ve finally decided on my novel, and am working on it. My goal is to have it mostly done before the year is out, here’s to 2019 goals! So!
Week 1 #2019 “Very few writers really know what they are doing until they’ve done it.” Anne Lamott
Eggs for brekkie...but not really, since I'm eating cold pizza. "It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird. It would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad." - C.S. Lewis
So thankful I picked up a load of cards in different sizes on super sale in November. And thankful for C.S. Lewis, his was the first book series that my dad sat down and read with me as a kid, that I can remember. Oh. I guess beaten by the Beatrix Potter books, which were equally violent if I remember that right.
