We spent 2 nights at Bumaroo Ford Camp Ground near Abercrombie River National Park in NSW. We arrived, set up camp right on the river and it was lovely. Lots of grassy areas, fire pits and clean drop toilets. The next day was a day for ADVENTURE! We drove a 4wd loop around Abercrombie River NP and it was so much fun! I highly suggest you google it first and find the mud map, or take a photo of the sign at Bumaroo Ford Camp. We spent the day slowly driving a loop around the park, and found some pretty cool sights! One of which was this old abandoned hut. There was some really steep sections as well. And I mean, really steep! You’ll have to wait for the YouTube video! It was so much fun, the day was full of heart pumping adrenaline and we definitely think it’s worth the windy road trip out there!
No @Tasmania road trip is complete without a few hikes in between drives, and the 14km return trip to Cape Raoul is one that should be on your itinerary, with a starting point just under two hours drive from Hobart 👌 You'll take in towering cliffs, off-shore islands and churning seas along the way, but the real reward is seeing these impressive stone columns tumbling into the sea at the very tip of the cape 📷 @tom.ella.moments
