Spring is a great time to juice, as it starts to get warmer, sunnier and more fruits and veggies become in season!! For my ”juice” I actually just use my high-speed @vitamix to get the job done and the consistency is just as good when adding some water.

Too much tension, especially in the upper body, also adversely affects your balance and flexibility, limiting the amount of turn and torque you can create in the backswing.
Here are some tricks to help you remove upper body tension rather your hitting a golf club or just working on a project and need a little break.
Tip 1: TAKE A BIG YAWN
Recent studies have shown that yawning releases neurotransmitters, including dopamine, into your body. This helps reduce stress and anxiety and can make you more alert. So before you step up to the ball, open your mouth wide and let your body do the relaxing for you.
Tip 2: RELAX YOUR JAW
Open your mouth slightly so that your upper and lower teeth aren’t touching each other. Then press your tongue lightly against the roof of your mouth. This will effectively pull your chin away from your chest and relax your jaw and upper body, which frees your shoulders.
Take a deep breath in and make a deeper, more powerful backswing.
Tip 3: Shake, Stretch and GO
Shake out tension in your hands and arms. Use your club to open up your shoulders. Allowing the club to go horizontal over your shoulders, your arms can hang over. Then, you can slowly rotate to warm and stretch the obliques and rotators of the spine. Next, come back to center to side bend, with your breath and slowly. This stretch the lateral body of the hips up to the shoulders. Let your neck follow to get a lengthening through your neck.

When picking up the golf ball, bend at the knees to retrieve your ball.
