You can not recover from chronic illness until you stop paying such close attention to the symptoms. Your attention to the "disease"/"symptoms" is what feeds your emotional/vibrational imbalances. 😮Noticing "symptoms" triggers a conditioned emotional response that makes you feel powerless in the moment. By feeling this way, you will only attract events/people that will match this powerless vibration in the end. 🤔⠀
Sound crazy? 🙄I completely understand. It took me 10 years of denial (i.e. driving myself nuts) until i was exposed to this concept. Once I was able to ignore the symptoms, my thoughts of wellness could build off one another. In little time, this adjustment in perspective lead me to the very things that healed my illness. 🙏🤔💯⠀

Maxed out on the TENS tonight after a little flare-up.
If you’re not familiar with TENS for pain relief, TENS machines work by sending electronic stimulating pulses across the surface of the skin and along the nerve strands. The stimulating pulses help prevent pain signals from reaching the brain. Tens devices also help stimulate your body to produce higher levels of endorphins, your own natural painkillers.
When I have a flare-up, I can usually combine my TENS with moist heat and a slab of Penetrex to avoid needing more conventional painkillers.

And another gets added to the list. Everyone with EDS has their own list and they're always so varied and different it's insane just how much it affects our bodies. This one isn't an exhaustive list but I tick off a fair few for this one with others being likely but need evaluation first and finding a way to get everything evaluated without coming across as a hypochondriac to the new GP.
Finally realized what one of my problems is I've been having for a long time last night and need to get it checked also, but it's one of the more embarrassing ones. It's already setting my anxiety into overdrive with what's going to be involved in just having it assessed, yet alone if theres treatment required for it. Self diagnosis is a HUGE no no but try going to the drs and getting them to listen to ALL of your issues when they are so widespread and varied most of them instantly roll their eyes. If you get them to listen then half the time they still get it wrong! Even when it's as glaringly obvious as a fracture on an xray that everyone but the dr and reporter could see, but it's ok send me off to be unessecarily radiated with a full body bone scan which involves injection of radioactive material into the body! Just to confirm what I was trying to bloody show and tell you! You start to figure shit out for yourself to save time and money and to protect your own health. Then you go in having narrowed it down to a few things or pretty damn certain it's one thing and if you don't watch your language and how to speak.....you get treated like every other person that googles and no rhyme or reason will be listened to. You have to word it in a way that let's them "figure it out" like a trail of breadcrumbs through a maze you've already solved but you have to get the GP through and make them think they got there first....

a lot of stress and it finally all built up and i cried a lot today. felt nice and now i’m struggling like my turtle friend.
