When on camp, we do camp things @questaconnstc. Still had time to fit in an easy #5k. Legs nice and stiff post @melbmara but great to get a run in.

Today was tough! With little preparation due to injuries and lovely last minute cold, I knew today’s @melbmara HM was going to be hard. The weather certainly did not help at all. Luckily there are amazing people around to help out and make the overall day pretty amazing. Firstly, thank you so much to @pohl_pace for picking me up when I needed it and running out the race with me. Congrats to @britkeating and @sarahj_myers smashing their HMs. Lastly, thanks so much to all those who cheered on and and supported all the runners out there. Especially @happy_bruno_in_melbourne for being the most overly enthusiastic cheer person out there, and also the #pointcookrunners for getting the best spot on course and killing it out there 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 #melbmara
Great to be back out in the #sunshine for #pointcookparkrun. Really nice to see @the_chick_who_runs out there and clearly dominating all the guys. 🙌🏻🙌🏻. On another note, body felt pretty good after some niggles and soreness. Here’s hoping for a great @melbmara HM in a couple of weeks!
Out and about for the first time in a couple of weeks after injury. Felt pretty great to be back out with this legend repping her @crunchfitnessau top! Hopefully the old knees hold up ok in the morning. @gillby13
Let’s ‘shell’ebrate another great run out with the #wolfpack🐺. Awesome work team 👊🏻💪🏻. On another note, run felt a million times better than yesterday’s. Thanks for the pick me up team... @gillby13@maaddzx

🤦🏼♀️When you’ve trained for the NYC marathon for the past 3 summers of your life and you’re not tuning this year but your husband is training for his second NYC marathon, there is a SLIGHT level of envy and you may have crazy thoughts like “i can run your 12 mile training run with you today even though i haven’t run more than 5 miles since the half marathon (13.1 miles) in March!” 🔟➕2️⃣Soo, today i ran 10 miles, and walked/jogged the last 2! My body was failing in every possible way... my feet, my toenails, my back, my knee and then i had chills... i just wanted to get home to some COLD WATER.... and then... i fell.. for the first time ever in my history of running! 😫 🙏🏻Luckily, I’m totally fine (aside from a slightly crushed ego) 🏃🏻♂️🚴🏻♂️Mike and mikey (on his bike with us) were my inspiration today and while it was a bit ambitious of me, I’m glad we did it together! 💜
An unexpected #pb for me this morning at the #runmelbourne HM. I signed up initially for a bit of a chilled out run with some great people and smashed my pb by over 12 minutes (set only 4 weeks ago at #gcm18). Thanks so much to these legends for the chat, and occasional banter with other runners, which made the run ‘seem’ easy.
Congratulations and well done @sarahj_myers on your first of many. @britkeating finished so strong, amazing effort. Smashed the rest of us out of the park. And thanks again Matt, for pacing. Such a great morning.
Cheers @solemotive and @lululemonausnz for putting on a fantastic event. Loved all the support and entertainment along the way. Already looking forward to next year.
This morning’s run was around #creswick in beautiful #countryvictoria. Was awesome seeing the rolling hills and enjoying some fresh air. Pity it was absolutely freezing❄️❄️❄️. Guess I had to work harder to warm up. Also, recommend #thecosyfox for a great little getaway house if you’re in need.
Bit of a chilly 5k this morning. Struggling to get those legs moving again. Looking forward to a longer run this weekend...
Signed up at late notice to @runmelbourne HM for an enjoyable half. Not looking to smash times out of the park, just there to enjoy. Should be good fun seeing the sights of #melbourne
Today we ran at Australia’s first #parkrun at Main Beach on the #goldcoast. Beautiful little run on both track and trail. Sounds like it was a good day to be away from #melbourne 😏... however, back now in the cold 😔, I’ll miss you sunshine ☀️and warmth...

First run post #gcm18 HM. Loving this #goldcoast weather and really don’t want to head back to the cold 😭😭😭
Well this was it! This was the goal I set out for when I began running only six months ago. The Gold Coast Half Marathon. My ‘first’ official HM and I feel pretty happy about it all. I ran the course well and the conditions were absolutely perfect. I was a bit behind the time I wanted but still a HM pb though so can’t go wrong with that!!! Maybe it was high expectations... 🙃
All in all, a really great morning. Now time to relax and enjoy the holiday.
Also shout out to Coach Mel for all the help along the way. Onward and upward ⬆️⬆️⬆️
When the coach tells you to run your last #parkrun before #gcm18 ‘hard’ surely, a #pb comes... and it did! 👊🏻This look of concentration and focus just says it all. Feel super ready and prepared for the HM next week💪🏻. Thanks @dinneenrunners for your hard work preparing everything for the run.... Also, congrats @the_chick_who_runs on your 150th and a new #pb at Point Cook 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. I seem to PB every time you’re at PC. Should come down more often!

Afternoon run, out and about in readiness for #gcm18 and hoping that I’m ready for a #pb 👊🏻. Bring it on! Can’t go past this sight for a dynamic warm up and cool down stretch. Love it! 👌🏻
Opted to miss #parkrun this morning and go for a #longrun with the #legends! Thanks heaps for the company and the great chat. Felt like we had barely started but were soon 10k in (then I definitely felt the old hips getting tight 🤷🏻♂️) thanks again! You will absolutely smash #runmelbourne 👊🏻👊🏻 @britkeating
