Wrong way to get to the sunset. But how’s about that reflection off the city.
Been a hot minute but finally getting around to shoot with @viewsfromthe5th_ and @shaqianli last night. Both great blokes 📸📸
Nuclear fusion 150 million KMs ahead.
The view you get from Barangaroo when you get the chance to look up from your screens. Looking over Pyrmont, the Anzac Bridge and the Sydney inner west.
So 8 years ago we hung out A LOT at this beautiful bay that overlooked the Anzac bridge. We always believed in the little things because it seems easier to see possibilities in the obvious. We actually do play the guitar, bass, some drums and lots of piano but we have a love-relationship with tiny. Guess we fail miserably at being very obvious-types. Jazz and Uke, we know right? it’s just like us. Now married, still holding these ukuleles staring at the same (2) horizons/city skylines, we wonder if our love affair with four-strings don’t had a lot to do with it.
We also tried re-enacting a double ukulele performance of an old Steve Martin tune we once recorded on our Nokia phone 8 years this time on our iphone. Hopefully unshaken by the strong winds! After a week’s spring rains the sun decided to show up making a pretty grand entrance so we took a chance coming smack in the arvo. Hence the squinting, the very short shadows and the deep blue.
Not able to stay any longer and managing only to see our siblings, we hope to say hello to all our Sydney friends properly soon. Dearly missed you are. 💕
