Add 1/4 cup fat free cottage cheese to your protein powder to make any protein shake a “cheesecake” version. (Note: add in addition to the water or almond milk you use and mix with a blender or @nutribullet) Pumpkin cheesecake, strawberry cheesecake, chocolate cheesecake?
This smoothie recipe is my absolute favorite of all time—adapted from @sunlifeorganics wolverine smoothie, it’s basically the best banana “milkshake” you’ll ever taste, and it’ll keep you full for HOURS. Had to share because I drink it almost daily these days! 🙈
💧1 medium sized banana (the riper, the better!)
💧1 cup of ice (I use about 5 large ice cubes)
💧1-2 heaping tbsp almond butter
💧1/2 cup almond milk
🌾 2 medjool dates, pitted
🌾 3 tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut
🌾 2 tbsp raw cacao nibs
🌾 1/2 tsp maca powder
Combine all ingredients into a blender (the higher powered, the better—the dates don’t blend very easily) and blend on high for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until your desired consistency is reached. Then you’re done!
Tip: For best results, add the ice, dates, and coconut first (closest to the blades).
