Our #V44S stereo microphone prepping for choral duty, from Mike McMinn on Facebook - "I borrowed this bad boy from @mainz_auckland about a week ago. It super easy to a good sound when recording a choir. I just needed to place it right in the middle of the stage. You get an accurate and detailed stereo image which is easy to locate sounds. You can nicely hear basses of the left and sopranos on right. Was also interesting trying the X - Y (cardioid) and Blumlein (Figure-8) configurations. Blumlein picked up more of the lovely diffusion and reverberation of the room. But I ended up using X - Y, it has superior coverage of the stage, a stronger centre image and slightly clean high frequency response. Thanks Vanguard Audio Labs"
When you have an upcoming video project that requires a lot of voice overs...and you forget that the mics you used to use belonged to the company who laid you off...so you have to go out and get your own lol. 🤷♂️ At least we now have a semi fancy mic to record singing @riley.cca lol

This is the AntLion's ModMic5 attached to the AKG K7XX, showing for those wondering how it connects. Left image to show it's two pieces of magnet for easy connecting, and it's very easy to turn the mic. Right image is K7XX when connected to the ModMic5.
