Wherever I stay
There's a feeling of so far away
I got no home town
I never put roots down
I bet you feel safe
Keeping your life in a cage
While I take my chances
But always collapses
I really don't know what it needs
To put my smile on
To turn the lights on
It always seems I'm falling down
They think I'm crazy
They think I'm crazy
Aiwa Aiwa Aiwa... I remember back in the late 90s buying Aiwa audio equipment. Everything from home stereo systems, record players, portable CD players, and car audio. It was never really considered a "top of the line" brand but it was always reliable for me and got the job done.
I'm the early 2000s Sony bought Aiwa. By 2008 they managed to completely shut down the brand.
Fast forward to present day. Aiwa is back. It's a brand new company with an old reliable name. Their first product release, the Exos-9, is one of if not the best rated bluetooth speaker on the internet!
So when I saw Aiwa was going to release a pair of Bluetooth headphones I had feelings of nostalgia and excitement. I really wanted to get a pair and try them out. There wasn't a ton of reviews out for them yet but the few I did see were glowing with positivity!
I received a coupon code from Aiwa in my email for $20 off and that made my decision to buy the Arc-1 headphones a certainty. I ordered them on Amazon a couple of days ago and they arrived on my porch this afternoon!
The sound... It's so good! I'm no audiophile and don't have a lot of experience with a ton of high end headphones but I can say that these blow away the Skullcandy Crusher Wireless and the AKG N60NC.
I wish I had more hands so I could give these headphones 4 thumbs up!
Day 68/100 - The #walkman -
The original Walkman, released in 1979, was a portable cassette player that changed listening habits by allowing people to listen to music on the move.
The Walkman had a major influence on 1980s culture. Other firms, including Aiwa, Panasonic and Toshiba, produced similar products, and in 1983 cassettes outsold vinyl for the first time. In 1986, the word "Walkman" entered the Oxford English Dictionary. Millions used the Walkman during exercise, coinciding with the aerobics craze; between 1987 and 1997, the height of the Walkman's popularity, the number of people who said they walked for exercise increased by 30%. #100daycreativechallenge#100daysofascent#100dayscreativechallenge#aiwa
