By far the best B&M hyper I’ve ridden is Mako. This is not just another floaty B&M hyper with the same layout. This is an ejector filled B&M hyper with the same layout! I dont mean like crazy ejector or anything, its at the low end of the ejector spectrum, but it is B&M’s strongest airtime (sorry Fury), and like the other hypers, it is incredibly sustained! The drop is incredible, especially in the back despite the 7-car trains. The overbank is meh, then sustained ejector. This first hill is probably the strongest moment on the ride, then the turnaround is alright. The ensuing hill is lightly trimmed...and u still get really good air on it! The next mild ejector hill gives some lats on the turn down, then the speed hill is really strong too! Post MCBR is not much, the airtime hill delivers nothing, the banks are ok, if u try to lean out you get some nice lats, but its not like Fury. It actually isn’t super intense like Behemoth, but the airtime is just so good! I had an insane amount of space this year and one ride I was actually scared, it was probably not safe tbh. I love Mako for its sustained ejector, fantastic drop, spacious clamshell restraints, and its touch of laterals. This is the king of Florida and it isn’t close.
What’s your favorite B&M not named Fury 325?
