I absolutely love this quote. I have been so guilty of starting a new workout or diet plan with enthusiasm only to drop off after a few weeks. The sporadic bursts of exercise and focused nutrition have never served me as well as the past 6+ months of consistent effort with the FASTer Way program. Case in point...the outfit in the second picture didn’t fit me this past summer. The blazer has been there for YEARS! I kept it in the closet for “someday” and honestly never thought I would get it on.
My next round starts on May 20th. What do you have hanging in your closet waiting for someday? Are you ready for your someday to be today? Join me...link in my profile

”Expression, recovery, and growth are mainstays of the work we do to build formidable humans.
• You have to be able to express something first.
• You must be able to recover from that expression for it to be considered proper.
• You must be able to adapt, return to homeostasis, and eventually grow to make the expression and recovery worthwhile.”

Why the blocked squat? We use this to embed the movement pattern of keeping the feet flat and pointed forward. We also want to emphasize that we move the hips first and make sure the knees are traveling outward, not forward.

Keeping it going... Now is the time to start building my training clientele again... I miss all my clients in the midwest and east coast. That is where @tumblingbodies is going to help me reach my old and new client's. Contact me.. I can show you how to do this workout thang.
I earned my ceus's in Practical Pilates and Yoga. An a Risk Management course. Renewed my cpr certification so I am ready to Rock!
I'll get back to teaching classes when I can find a studio to match my energy. I have been running into a lot of Studio Owner's wanting a new class just not wanting to afford an independent instructor. It doesn't work that way..... I have helped plenty of businesses grow. An will hand over those referrals anyday, anytime. A great instructor brings people in. That's how it should work! An I have always worked with studio owners when they need it. I understand you and your trial's as a business owner. An since I promote and market myself I'll be tagging and sharing your place of business all the time! @afaa_certified

HI! Happy Saturday pals 💙 Having to modify bc of my bum knee hasn’t been fun, but it is necessary. Monday I went to do my full body weighted workout and couldn’t make it through but one set of squats with weights because of my knee pain. I switched over to the four exercises above alone with machine leg extensions and hamstring curls to take the pain off my knees but still train my lower body and target my quads, glutes and hamstrings! I was actually a little sore after Monday’s workout so I guess I did pretty good eh!? Save dis even if you don’t have a bum knee because it was fiyaaa 🔥 About to be headed back home, and I’m pumped, missed all my people there, not going to lie 🥰

I love to dance and the traditional workouts bore me until I make it my own. Add music and all of a sudden burpees become dance burpees. 😁Love that I can do that with my workouts and my business - make it my own.
What are you known for?
This final day of the final week of this training cycle, I introduced High Intensity Concurrent Training (HICT) - Athletic Training Inspired to my training style.
HICT is basically training where you perform endurance exercises or workouts either prior to or after a resistance training workout, but changing it up and intermingling these two exercise modes into one workout. This style was developed by Helgi Jonas Gudfinnson of Norway and is part of his “HIIT University” concept, which I studied years ago and decided to start using it, but adding athletic exercises to the exercise selection and switching from his design of a 28 second work/28 second rest to a 30 second work/30 second Rest Protocol for a four exercise circuit; adding a metabolic circuit at the end.
Here’s my version this week, while I wear my “Philippians 4:13”, @activefaithsports tank top.
