When I was a kid, I was obsessed with Steve Irwin. I even dressed as the legend for Halloween 3 years in a row. Being around wildlife and exploring new wilderness always felt right and clear.
What are your favorite animals to spot in nature?
Sometimes you fall, because what you’re attempting is beyond what you’re currently capable of achieving. What makes it worth doing, and what makes you the right person to do it, is your willingness to pull yourself together and climb back up. You’re worth it. .

i love the quiet nights.
when driving through the wind and there’s nothing but the nighttime darkness, starry skies, open air, and Jesus surrounding.
being a very social, extroverted person, i've found the importance in also taking time for the quiet moments.
there's just something about those evenings that bring such peace.
it’s through the quiet evenings that i get to be with Him. i make much-needed time for our Father in heaven who is all of our director and leader through all things in this life.
He is there for us in trials, in triumphs, and even in the busiest day-to-day moments.
He is in the breezy, cool evenings with cornfields and starry skies surrounding.
He is there in our hearts every single day.💛
what keeps you sane during the business in your day to day life? i love learning of all the ways we take time for those much needed breathers🖤

“Super Blue Blood Moon”, 2018 -
“After hours of chasing the 2018 Super Blue Blood Moon through the night, our numb hands, dead batteries, and wet boots were enough for us to finally retreat back to warmth. Fortunately, I was able to photograph enough content to create this composite in post, allowing me to reminisce on the special nights for years to come.”
I could hear all of the moments that I had stumbled and fell on my journey, crunching underneath my feet.. As the crisp air of autumn spread across my face.. I could feel my heart pounding - every single beat... Deep inside my chest... Butterflies fluttering in my stomach, my lips slowly curving into a smile... As I made my way to the other side, where all of my dreams were waiting patiently for me... 🍁🧡🍂

Can't you smell the snow and wondered here? I smell hot chocolate, happiness, and soup. I hear water running as snow crunches on the bank. I am so happy to share this with you. I am so happy for you to be here with me.

One of the more precarious spots I have shot @nwlove from, good thing she's a nurse 😉. Happy to see her plastered all over @tamarackresort marketing this season.
Me: “B, hurry up and sit here! We gotta take a photo cuz the sun is gonna set! Let’s look gangsta!”
B: “...so do I smile in the photo?”
Me: “NO! Gangsta, B! No smile!!!”
We stumbled on this national park by accident actually. A tour guide told us that there’s a beach in this direction but he didn’t tell us that it’s a national park! So glad that we went because it was the most serene place ever!
I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of my new niece (speaking that into existence not actually sure yet if it is a boy or a girl 😉) needless to say I came to photograph before and after their grand arrival. Now normally I am not the one to get super emotional about this kind of stuff but while editing this one today I teared up and couldn't help but pray for this sweet little one.
May you be courageous, BRAVE, and a truth seeker little one.. we love you already!!
The last month had been such an incredible experience. 25 days of no work, just travel and exploring. Don’t ask how I did it but I made it work. I’m been blessed and highly favored, that for sure and there is only one explanation for that. Life is damn good.
Eloping in Rocky Mountain National Park isn't always the super quiet experience people think it will be. Most of the approved elopement sites can have a bunch of people around them. That's why I always ALWAYS suggest to my couples that we spend some time at the end of the day hiking to somewhere a bit quieter. We had Dream Lake to ourselves on Friday evening and watching the sun sink behind the mountains was the perfect end to a pretty perfect day.
