I was at Abraham Lake on the weekend to view the 'famous' bubbles in the ice. It was a worthy trip. The roads were clear and the scenery was majestic. We were greeted by bighorn sheep who seemed the least bit interested in the visitors trickling in.Walking on the ice was a bit unnerving, hearing ice cracking in the nearby distance and small pools of shallow water within meters of where I tread. It's not a lie of the wind which pierced right through me. My new ice tracks were a great investment allowing me to walk on the ice with minimal difficulty. I am looking forward to visiting again.
