The story line is similar to the 2011 american film #intime starring Amanda Seyfried and Justin Timberlake in that everyone has a clock which equates to a person's "expiration date". I loved that movie and knowing their was a kdrama that touched on that concept made me excited. Other than the life span clock thing, theirs really nothing else similar to the movie and it worked really well. As for the cast, I absolutely love #leesungkyung . I think she is an oustanding actress and I love how she goes for different roles all the time, she doesn't stick to one character and I admire her for that. #leesangyoon was good, this is the first time I saw any acting of him, and it was good but nothing in particular standed out for me. In general for me personally it is a little uncomfortable when it looks like their's a big age gap between the lovers of a show unless is part of the story line, I know is a personal thing but to me I feel a disconnection between the characters whenever that happens. I think sungkyung did an incredible job of reaching up to that level of maturity so that the age gap wasn't as awkward. In general this fantasy romance drama has an interesting plot but isn't super memorable but either way a good watch. #abouttime#abouttimekdrama#koreandrama#kdrama#romantic#fantasy#kshow#actor#actress#recommended

Leadership requires many skills that we learn over time. In a hectic world full of distractions, communication is vital and listening is golden. At Girasoles En Marcha, we encourage each girl to discover their innate potential and acquire skills at their own pace. Being a leader requires humility and confidence. This is why we give each girl an opportunity to lead and grow out of her comfort zone. We remind one another that mistakes are part of the process. However, active listening and communication will help us lead, while learning more about ourselves and others. Growth mindset is at the core of leadership. Leading with love is sacred to us. We must remain teachable and leave room for improvement.
Margot as Jane Porter in "The Legend of Tarzan". (2016)
In 2016, there was a live Q&A with her and Alexander Skarsgård (Tarzan) and here are a few highlights! 💛
“My weekends would consist of basically go to the gym eating my little box of food and sleeping, while Margot would go to crazy music festival in northern England and sleep in a tent, and wake up with a 15-year-old peeing on her tent; backpacking through Europe, sleep in hostels in Amsterdam. So every Monday I’d be like, ‘Margot, okay – what’s life like out there?’ - Alex.
“He’d ask me ‘What did you eat? Tell me everything you ate, if was like food porn for Alex. I was like, ‘I had this and I ate that, and for dessert I had that.’ And he was, like, welling up Actually, I really felt bad. To begin with I was like, ‘Mmm, mmm, mmm, I’m eating cake and you’re not!’ And then after a while I felt really bad for him, so I’d eat my food somewhere else so he couldn’t see.” - Mags.
Also on the topic of food, they were quizzed over who would be the one to survive longest if they were stranded on a deserted island. “She would eat me." - Alex.
“I would eat him, I’d wait for him to turn around, and then I’d smack him over the head with a coconut and I’d have food for months.” - Mags.
“She’s very pretty, but she’s a backstabber." - Alex.
A fun fact- They went to a gorilla sanctuary in Kent, a couple hours outside of London, when they were doing prep for the movie.
I think it was important that a contemporary audience could relate to Jane. The book was written a long time ago and I think ideologies have changed since then.I don’t think that being in love with your husband should be a weakness. I think that actually makes her stronger, so I wanted that definitely to be the focus, but then, though they can’t live without each other, they are incredibly capable when they are alone. It would have been boring to watch her sitting there waiting to be rescued. It is far more entertaining to watch her getting herself out of the predicament as well. I think it is important to make sure she could be relatable to women watching. I hope women watching would be, “Go, girl. Get it.""
Margot's 2018 makeup looks made by an insanely talented woman and a genius, @patidubroff . 💄👑
Here are some tips and tricks Pati shared!
“Skin is everything. I mean everything and I’ll spend more time on the skin than the makeup. It makes eyeshadow or lipstick application quicker to bang out, and if the skin doesn’t look incredible, it doesn’t matter how big you want the features to be, they’re not going to look good. Skincare prep makes it look more alive, so you’re not having to fake it with foundation, blushers, highlighters. Ideally, I’ll have half an hour, but if I’m crunched for time, I’ll pop on a sheet mask. When the sheet mask comes off, then it’s all about the massage.Just get in there with fingers and carve along the cheekbones on the pressure points and it will help move fluids from the under-eye area. Pressing down at either side of the bridge of the nose will also help shift any lymphatic. I’ll put primer through the centre so that it reduces the need for powder and helps the foundation stick. I’ll mix multiple shades of foundation, and multiple textures, so the skin looks like skin. "
"Always do your make-up in natural light. Whenever possible, get out of the bathroom and go to your nearest window, it’s the only way to get everything looking even."
"I recommend taking days off from wearing make-up. Seriously, let your skin breathe, you really don’t need to beat face every single day."
