I wrote an essay for @bustle about how writing a book was a humbling process that forced me to redefine failure and success. Major 🙏🏽 to @gabymoss1 for the assignment. #linkinbio witches. 🔮🎱

Spin off Off Campus,którą pokochałyśmy i zgodnie podzieliłyśmy się chłopakami bez żadnych konfliktów :D
związek jakiego oboje by chcieli?
#bookstagram#czytambolubie#kochamksiazki#bookstagrammers#kochamksiążki #polskiebookstagramy#readingislife#takczytam#bookstagrampl#books#youngadultbooks#offcampus#thechase@ellekennedy33@zysk_wydawnictwo

Happy Tuesday! Today #ontheblog I posted my review of Serious Moonlight by @j3nn_benn, which was sent to me by @simonteen.
The link to my full review is in my bio. SPOILER ALERT: I loved it! There’s nothing better than reading a book about teen awkwardness, yummy pie, a murder mystery date, and a real-life mystery to solve.
Synopsis of Serious Moonlight:
After an awkward first encounter, Birdie and Daniel are forced to work together in a Seattle hotel where a famous author leads a mysterious and secluded life in this romantic contemporary novel from the author of Alex, Approximately.
Mystery-book aficionado Birdie Lindberg has an overactive imagination. Raised in isolation and homeschooled by strict grandparents, she’s cultivated a whimsical fantasy life in which she plays the heroic detective and every stranger is a suspect. But her solitary world expands when she takes a job the summer before college, working the graveyard shift at a historic Seattle hotel.
In her new job, Birdie hopes to blossom from introverted dreamer to brave pioneer, and gregarious Daniel Aoki volunteers to be her guide. The hotel’s charismatic young van driver shares the same nocturnal shift and patronizes the waterfront Moonlight Diner where she waits for the early morning ferry after work. Daniel also shares her appetite for intrigue, and he’s stumbled upon a real-life mystery: a famous reclusive writer—never before seen in public—might be secretly meeting someone at the hotel.
To uncover the writer’s puzzling identity, Birdie must come out of her shell…discovering that most confounding mystery of all may be her growing feelings for the elusive riddle that is Daniel.

Hello everyone, how was your day?
Today was my first day of college after mid semester break for 7 days. I was little bit unwell today so my day wasn't that good. I slept the whole evening and I have tons of assignments to complete. My life is literally a mess right now. Tell me how you deal with hectic days.
So about the book, I have been waiting for this book since I have finished reading Cruel Prince in January. I received the book some days back and I'm really excited to read it. I will pick up after I finished all my pending work 💫

QOTD: Did you add any new books to your collection this week?
Happy Sunday! When I say this weekend has been busy, I mean it has been busy. Yesterday I went to NTTBF and had a blast. It was crazy crowded so I didn't get to sit in on many panels due to rooms being full. However, I did sit in on some book publishers' book buzz sessions where they talked about recent and upcoming releases. So, there were a few books I was able to add to my want to read list on Goodreads. This year, I told myself I was only going to buy 2 books, and I actually stuck to my limit. I ended up buying Field Notes on Love by Jennifer E. Smith and A Very Large Expanse, which of Sea by Tahereh Mafi. I was also lucky enough to get my hands on 4 ARCs, Aurora Rising, Let Me Hear a Rhyme, Stepsister, and Screen Queens. I was also able to meet and get books signed by Angie Thomas, Jennifer E. Smith, and Kasie West. So, I'd definitely say I had a successful day at the book festival. After a crazy day at NTTBF, I went to a trivia night with some friends. Unfortunately there were no YA book questions, but I was still able to help out a little. MY team placed 3rd in the 1st round and then 2nd in the 2nd round. So all in all, yesterday was a great day. Did you add any books to your collection this past week? #Marinbooks19 -Favorite one word title
Thank you guys so much for all the love and book recs on my last post!! 🥰 I’m only on chapter 3 of The Cruel Prince but I’m going to keep reading because 1) I hate DNF’ing books and 2) The general consensus is that The Wicked King is AMAZING ☺️ I’m off to uni soon but I just wanted to pop in and tell you that I love and appreciate you all so much 🥰
what’s your favorite classic, or classic adaptation?
I hiiighly enjoy contemporary takes on classic books, and this one was no exception! from the very beginning I loved Zuri’s character...her voice and the poems throughout made her really stand out as a protagonist. since this is a Pride and Prejudice remix I expected to fall for the romance, but it ended up being so much more! ✨

I’m finally delving into the main romance subplot, I’m super excited! Also, the Good Place is a great show (that’s what the picture is from) and I highly recommend!
Good morning 😊
I got this pretty in the mail last week and it’s so gorgeous and signed and the art 😍
At the moment I’m reading The Shadowglass by Run Chupeco and I love it! It’s the third in the trilogy and I’m so excited to see how it all ends and how everything comes together at the end because the books are always told in 2 time lines.
Have you read books like that before? Did you like it?
Have a wonderful Wednesday and smile a little ☺️💛
