#MLKday “As you honor my father, please remember and honor my mother as well. She was the architect of the King Legacy and founder of @thekingcenter, which she founded two months after Daddy died. Without #CorettaScottKing there would be no #MLKday.” —Bernice King
It’s almost the end of the month. Have you began setting, planning and implementing the changes in your life you truly want to see?! Who do you want to be, what do you want to do, what needs to go, what needs to stay, what things did you learn that you know desperately need to be applied....how does that affect the person you are ready to show up in the world as?
We are not always prepared for what the journey to self looks like and sometimes we are too comfortable to even try. But when you allow yourself the opportunity to gain awareness, you’ll see that there is so much more to life than the comfortable place you occupy. God wants more than a comfort zone for you. It’s time you start wanting more for yourself.
It can be tough getting honest about where you are as well as committing to the work it takes to get where you desire to be. I tell my clients that though the road can be unpredictably tough and long, the peace, clarity, focus, balance and awareness of self you will gain is priceless. Who you will be on the other side is more than worth it.
I was once the person who thought it was all good and all I needed to do when something went wrong was to pray. But there must be work done along with that prayer to REVIVE, REJUVENATE, & RESTORE ourselves and our lives for elevated living.
Schedule your Breaking Through Barriers Call today for the Transformational #mindset shift you desire.
Dr. King’s words continue to help me distinguish between authentic, personal power- and phony, positional power. Phony power requires you to judge who is doing what in the world and see yourself as above them. Authentic power rests in the peace of knowing your motives are good and believing others’ are too. One requires judgment of public displays of action; the other looks solely at ourself in the day-to-day. If you find yourself in a girl gang that cheers on the practice of judging others in order to elevate your voice or your value- you are on the wrong side of love and inclusion. Stop worrying about who is the critic, who is “all talk”, or who is publicly doing something. All judgment spurs on continued judgment. Personal power says, “whatever small, seemingly insignificant, anonymous behavior I have to offer- if it comes in the name of love- it is GREAT and MIGHTY. ⚡️ #mlk#drking#corettascottking#personalpower#womensempowerment

Your body is beautiful beyond measure -- in ALL it's seasons, shapes, and sizes.⠀
It always has your back, no matter what you do to it, feed it, or put on it.⠀
Nothing loves you more & wants to help you thrive more than your body.⠀
The moment you are able to truly see that & love it back for all it is and does for you right now in this moment, that’s the moment it will be able to shift into more of what you want it to be.⠀
At the end of the day, we all want to be loved and appreciated for who and what we are.⠀
When we are, we shine, thrive, and are able to become happier, stronger, and better.⠀
Your body works the same way.⠀
When you see how much it loves you and begin to love it back, THATS when you’ll start experiencing everything you’ve been hoping for.
I worked hard for 20 years to get well + shift my perspective on my body.⠀
Having been "fitness model skinny" already, I know that THIN DOESN'T FEEL ANY BETTER THAN I DO NOW.⠀
Thin is not a feeling.⠀
Fat is not a feeling.⠀
LOVED and APPRECIATED are a feelings. ⠀
And both of those feeling are dictating by the CHOICES I make every day.⠀
I love my body in all her seasons, shapes, and sizes.⠀ All I truly care about is being + feeling GOOD.⠀⠀
And I DO!⠀
Want help feeling GOOD about yourself and your body right now, exactly where you are?"

I want to apologize to all the women I have called pretty, before I have called them intelligent, or brave. I am sorry I made it sound as though something as simple as what you are born with is the most you have to be proud of when your spirit has crushed mountains. from now on I say things like you are resilient or you are extraordinary, not because I don’t think you are beautiful, but because you are so much more than that.

I use obstacle course racing as an analogy a lot. When I take a start line, it is a matter of absolute fact I will cross the finish line. I don’t know how long it will take, I’m not sure how my race will look, I have a notion of the obstacles I’ll face but don’t overstudy the course map because knowing does nothing for me. I’m trained or I’m not. This is gon go down the way it goes down. The only thing I know for sure is that the prize is mine.
L I F E ———
I’ve crossed finish lines with a broken foot, with hypothermia, with a concussion. Not crossing = not an option. Even when it’s not pretty, finishing is pure elation. My tank is always empty. Why would I reserve anything? I spend it all in the arena; finish gutted and but so very full. ———
L I F E
THIS 👆 is actually what obstacle course racing looks like. This 2 mile run to the beach, 30 pushups on these steps, 2 miles back. Some days it’s Muay Thai or weight room or kickboxing or yoga with my kids in the kitchen....different every day, but something every day. ———
When I toe the start line and clear the course and claim my medal, it had just a LITTLE bit to do with race day. It had everything to do with 100 of these days.👆Visualizing finish lines.
Quiet grind. Training. Training. Train-ing.
Race day is how you show up. Pay off your training. ———
L I F E ———
Dear Daughters, please oh please: leave it all in the arena. Finish having left your entire heart and all your guts on the course.
L I F E
👉my #fitnesswear is @shopminq because Stacey has a heart as big as mine and leaves hers in her arena, too ❤️
this is your monday reminder to take this week one day at a time....you are doing better than you think 🖤 (reminding myself of this today as well)
also get your body moving today, even if just for 10 minutes! it will do wonders for your mental health 🤗🌈

“I will teach you what is hidden from you.”
— THE GOSPEL OF MARY MAGDALENE
I, like so many, grew up in a toxic masculine society with a wounded feminine Mother. I grew up with harsh criticism to conform and that bled into my adult life as a harsh inner critic.
I’ve spent the last few years in deep healing around The Mother Wound, Inner Child, and Attachment (Love) Trauma.
The wounded shadowed feminine is likely to be critical, harsh and judgmental of any weakness or vulnerability instead of nurturing and compassionate.
She (and he) has learned to isolate and intellectualize - avoiding the body by staying in the head.
She’s learned to turn away from her heart’s true desires and abandon herself to stay safe in the logical mind of rules and analysis and independence. •
If a Woman stays in this prison of criticism, competition, and judgement, she will remain incarcerated in her own damn prison of the Mother Wound. •
The beauty of the Awakened Woman on a conscious Queen Path is that in her deeper knowing and awareness of the healing she came here to embody - she is in constant reflection AND these shadow aspects will be mirrored in sisterhood, love interests and partnership FOR HER GROWTH.
The pain caused by these reflections signifies an invitation to reveal the wounded feminine aspects & ascend higher into the Divine Feminine. There is no destination or perfection. •
To heal the wounded feminine within (for men and women), we can enlist our inner masculine to heal her. It involves giving and asking for forgiveness, and burning down the armor around the heart.
The masculine energy and consciousness is about being proactive and emotionally available, holding safe containers, and taking compassionate steps to heal ourselves. •
He is our inner King 👑, the part of us that we can rely on to help us heal, to listen to us and to take action to protect us.
If your mothering or fathering has been harsh or you feel you haven’t had much mothering or nurturing…become your own mother, don’t abandon yourself, stay near yourself. •
You are so loved ♥️🌹♥️ I believe everyone you meet is walking you home to your own Ascension. #sacredunion
WHY I MARCHED:
1. No, it’s not to demonize the white man. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without the influence of my strong, supportive father, grandfathers, brother, cousins, uncles, friends, and even past boyfriends who made me believe that ANYTHING is possible. Unfortunately, that is not how it is in every workplace or family around the world. We have to make everyone (not just men) aware that sexism still exists — even if you haven’t seen it firsthand yourself. It’s about coming together and having these conversations to learn from each other. And that extremism is NOT the majority. TRUE feminism is just about having us on equal footing! Shout out to all the men in my life who have always been so supportive of this movement.
2. My friend @amyewerner put it perfectly on Saturday: “To set in motion the catalyst for action & authentic solidarity in 2019”. I walk to support the voices and rights of indigenous peoples, minorities, those who identify as LGTBQA+, immigrants, and of course, women’s rights. It’s about uplifting all of humanity. NOTE: I am also no one’s savior as a white woman and understand the privileges associated with white feminism — when it’s time to take a seat and let someone else speak (I also appreciate when people call me out if I am unintentionally ignorant).
3. How amazing is it that we have the right to peacefully assemble? That our voices CAN be heard and we will NOT be silenced. I am not yelling “lock him up” but instead, chanting “this is what democracy looks like”. The 1st amendment is an unbelievably beautiful thing.
4. I can tell my grandchildren that I was there to make change and not just talk. I didn’t travel to DC from Charlotte to complain. One of my favorite parts? How many men were there this year. When you are marching, there is solidarity and an energy that gives us hope for the future. These marches are for uplifting ALL of humanity.
5. I know I’m going to get push back (as you can see in some of these comments in my past post), but I’m hoping that through my posts and conversations, we can come together to the table and find commonalities. There is not better time to live than now — A new generation is rising.
As I start my day, I like to journal and write out three things
Then I will often pick a word or mantra for the day. I have been doing this practice for about 2 years now religiously
My mantra today is
TO STEP INTO MY POWER
To me, this means, surrendering to life, its challenges and tests and then to OPEN up to GROWTH and take my power back through mindset and my decisions 👊
Something one of my mentors this past year @karlindor told me, was that "Kait, there is always someone else who is going to have it harder than you"
And that is so true. Although we don't have power over others actions, we DO have power over our minds and what we choose to focus on and how we want to react to things
You can either choose to revert back to the old patterns you've held onto, or you can DARE to be BRAVE and challenge yourself and surrender to growth
So maybe jump on the bandwagon with this whole eclipse thing and realize this IS an opportunity for you to break the patterns and choose again. To break what started in the beginning of the eclipse cycle which began in February 2017, and ending it today
With one decision
Is up to you
You choose 💁♀️✨

Send us a screenshot of your donation and we will send you a HER FOUNTAIN guided meditation song.
lemme just say over the last few weeks, I’ve become a big fan of that token California beach scene mural my housemate painted before I moved in. here to share some of my most transforming self-care, self-love, and holistic healing habits I’ve implemented over the past 7.5 months.
1. every morning when I wake up, I first take my natural supplements, and I make sure I don’t skip Juice Plus. I could share for days on that- or you could see my picture from July 5th. I had terrible hormonal issues, adrenal fatigue, and weight fluctuations between 40-60 pounds of a healthy BMI. taking those supplements reminded me- not of a product- but of the incredible community of women across the world who took me in with open arms and make a safe place for me to share anything and everything about my history and current state of mental health. how many of you know all disease starts with inflammation? I had chronic inflammation in my body to a cellular level that I just pushed through. anytime I had massage therapy, I would be so sick from the amount of toxins that were released that I had to flush my body with electrolyte water all day and stay near my bed. these supplements didn’t remind me at all of a company, even though the company is one of the most amazing I have ever known. it reminded me of a home that exists anywhere one of those women is- it reminded me of being in my best friend Esther’s kitchen with our sweet, wise, gentle and full-of-the-best-tough-love mentor Calli Curtis. It reminded me how they loved me so well, but didn’t let me stay stuck. It reminded me of the book clubs, Zoom calls from our own kitchens with women across the country, and especially the simple habits I learned to implement every day to clean up my environment of needless stuff and my mind of toxic thoughts. now every time I take those wonderful juices in, I think about the transformation in my body and health and art and finances and capacity to live a beautiful life- because it all truly starts with real self-love and real love in safe relationships. more to come. ♥️ from the other side,
I love Facebook memories because it reminds me that a year ago (and 2 years ago and 3 years ago), this kid was a handful with an enviable head of hair 😂
Those “on this day posts” also remind me that when I started my first online business, I thought I had to show up on social media 3 times a day 😅 #ExhaustingAF
My content was diluted + boring... and oftentimes, I just posted for the sake of posting. It was just something to check off my to-do list. (Here’s a selfie with my dog. Here’s a picture of a salad. Here’s an inspirational quote. 🙈)
Now, I’ve learned to be intentional with what I share.
Is it thoughtful? Inspiring? Could it help another woman run a better business? Is it a laugh-worthy moment from Olivia? 😂 (I’m not one-dimensional after all; you shouldn’t be either)
Stop posting just to post.
Start tapping into the value you have to share and showing up when you have something to say.
Stop sharing your sweaty selfie with a caption that’s all about YOU.
Start giving your audience inspiration, motivation, and tips that help THEM.
Stop making meaningless posts with no purpose.
Start focusing on your purpose - because you have this huge potential to change the world, friend.
You get to make the rules in your business; if you decide that you want to make 6 figures by showing up, with your whole heart, when it feels good to YOU... hey, you’ve got this.

Happy Birthday to this seriously badass African woman! 🎉 ❤️
@Badassboz is the epitome of what we mean when we say 'trailblazing'. A force to be reckoned with, her resume is filled with big names and impressive moments. This powerhouse forged a path as a music marketing maverick at @Pepsi and was instrumental in inking the deal that brought @Beyonce to the Super Bowl with the brand in 2013.
Jimmy Iovine, the music powerhouse who co-founded @interscope, spotted her talents and snapped her up to work on @beatsbydre in 2014, which eventually led to a position as global head of consumer marketing at @applemusic.
She also famously shook up the mostly male audience at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference in 2016 when she included a rendition of “Rapper’s Delight” in the keynote address. In 2017 she moved to @Uber as their Chief Brand Officer and in 2018 joined Endeavor Global Marketing, one of the world's leading talent agencies, as Chief Marketing Officer!
Not one to blend in, this statuesque beauty wears her confidence boldly and shuns the corporate dress code for sequins, bold prints and colour. Fashion as always been a part of the story for her - because when you look good, you FEEL good.
Although Bozoma has experienced immense personal tragedy, she has an infectious personality and sense of wonder about life, something apparent from the moment you lay eyes on her. We are so impressed by what she has achieved so far, and can't wait to see what's coming.
Bozoma - you are an amazing role model and inspiration for young women everywhere. You show us what is possible when you work hard and BELIEVE in yourself. Thank you for all that you do - enjoy your day, you deserve it! ❤️🙌🏾 #IAmNdini
‘Not all women bleed, and not all who bleed are women’. •
Never forget that! We try and be as inclusive as we can be but sometimes we fail at this! A goal for 2019 is to be as good at that as possible. Any tips? 💕💕Image @okaymontana

Dr. King was a visionary.
This question remains a guiding light in my journey. My life has purpose and is greater than me.
This Baptist preacher shared God’s word everywhere he traveled. #MLK#LifewithChelsi
Yesterday the Guardian revealed that the Spice Girls #iwannabeaspicegirl Comic Relief 'gender justice' t-shirts were made in a factory in Bangladesh where women earn 35p an hour during shifts in which they claim to be verbally abused and harassed. Where's the girl power in that?
It's very simple and of vital importance: know your supply chain, ask #whomademyclothes If you can’t see it, you can’t fix it, which is why Fashion Revolution urges more brands and retailers to have full supply chain transparency.
We see the need for greater transparency across fair and decent work, environmental protection and gender equality as intersectional drivers that will shape the future of fashion in order to better understand how to achieve positive change in the global fashion industry.
We urge any celebrity, charity or cause to first do their homework to ensure that their garment is sourced from a supply chain where all workers are paid decent wages and operate in safe, healthy conditions.

"I raise up my voice-not so I can shout but so that those without a voice can be heard...we cannot succeed when half of us are held back" - Malala Yousafzai
A new day is on the horizon. We will no longer sit back and watch from the sidelines. THIS is what democracy looks like. WE are the leaders. WE are the future. So proud to be a human...a woman..an American. So proud to be part of this movement for a third year. March on.
Hey you! YES YOU. .
You beautiful human being that you are - I’ve got to tell you something! But really, more so, I’d like to remind you of something. YOU ARE A FCKNG WARRIOR. You’ve come this far, you’ve worked through your stuff, you’ve overcome a lot of challenges, grown stronger through them; you’ve continued on despite it all, and you wake up every single day and try again. LIVE again. LOVE again. FEEEEEL again. And I SEEEEEE YOU. ✨ omg do I see you. .
Life isn’t always easy. We’ve all got a story. A past story and a now story [and often in our head a future story] and none of those always go exactly as planned. And then we’ve got this thing called our ego, our mind, which creates a whole additional story about how we feel about every event, person, thought, feeling, diagnoses, word, the way things were ‘supposed to be’, judgement, action, etc. etc. - and this stuff is NOT peanut butter pie to work through. .
It’s hard. It can be trying. It can feel uncomfortable & scary. But it’s WORTH IT. YOU ARE WORTH IT. So I want to thank you for every single day you get up again and work to be a little better than the you yesterday. And thank you to all of you who hold for me, love on me, and encourage me along the way too. .
It’s a little [lot] easier when you’ve got others to say “cmon we’ve got this.” “cmon let’s get after this life.” “cmon there’s room for us there & there’s room for you here” and I don’t take those people for granted. I don’t take this life for granted. .
And because of that, and because of the work I’ve done on me, I have the courage & confidence to keep getting up, keep becoming, keep working [internally + externally] even on days when [yes me too] I really don’t feel like it, or I wonder if it’s making a dent in the difference. .
But it is. And you are too. Every time you choose to keep on keeping on. And every time you share with someone your story. Your journey is important. So freaking important. And so are you. And so am I. so THANK YOU for continuing to get up, get out there, and fight hard for what’s yours warriors. I see you 👁 I acknowledge you ✨and I love you. ♥️
