I’ve seen many people do various types of workouts like these and thought “I’m not physically ready to do that.” Well today I thought what the heck & I did it 😅 it’s not the best but I’ll keep trying until I’ve got it down. That’s what this journey is for right? Trying out different things, stepping out of our comfort zones & accomplishing something we never knew we could. It’s a big deal to me guys. Today I trained legs. I’m going to start hitting them 3 days a week now and see if I like it! Before I lift heavier I always always always warm up and do glute activating exercises. Since I’ve started doing this I’ve seen major changes🍑🙌🏼 these are some of the main ones I do. Try them out and let me know if you like it too😊

To the coworker who told me that I don’t need to go to the gym to get STRONGER, I need to go to lose weight:
I lift weights because it is something that I truly love. It makes me happy. I do it so I can be a healthier and happier version of myself. I lift weights because of the pure joy and accomplishment I get when one weight has become a smidge easy for me so I have to go to a heavier weight. I go for the pure mental escape that the gym gives me when I put in my headphones and drown out the rest of the world. I did not start weight training because it was the popular thing or because I wanted to get “bulky” - which is by far the biggest myth when it comes to weight lifting and women. I started weight training for the emotions and endorphins I get. Healthy is not a number- it’s all about how you look and feel. 💛
