Another FAQ that we get is: What should I say? 🤔
The first thing we want to make clear right away is that we’re testing the websites, not you. You can’t do anything wrong since there is no right or wrong answer. All you have to do, is to think out loud: say what you’re looking at, what you’re trying to do, and what you’re thinking. Please don’t worry about hurting anyone’s feelings since our customers do this to improve their website. Just give them your honest reactions.
Baseline/summative testing: What is this UX method and why is it beneficial to projects? 📊 Continue reading below for a brief overview!
What is it and how does it work? Baseline or summative testing focuses on capturing usability metrics for a product such as time on task, success rate, reported difficulty, and content comprehension by having participants complete relevant user scenarios. These can also be used to compare your site with your competitors’ sites and pit user experience metrics against each another. Baseline/summative studies typically have a larger sample size and use inferential statistics to identify significant differences as well as effect sizes.
Why is it beneficial? With the aforementioned metrics recorded, it is then possible to determine if a redesign has made a positive or negative impact on the user experience. Unlike formative testing (where design changes are made throughout the process), this testing method provides a more powerful statistical measurement of how a product is performing as it currently stands, providing a baseline for comparison as a project progresses

Another day, another reveal from us on the topic of benefits of being a tester with Userbrain. When you test with us you learn in practice what a bad website is for you. As we mentioned in our previous post, by reviewing confusing full of unnecessary content websites, you build your own opinion of how a good website looks and works. We suggest that you would use this knowledge when creating your own website.
Today we reveal to you the first benefit of being a tester: You help businesses grow and improve. Have you ever seen an amazing piece of clothing being promoted on Instagram, you decide to check it and BOOM! 💥 The worst designed and complexed website shows up and you decide to close and forget about it. 😔 But what if you had the opportunity to change it? We at Userbrain focus on providing our clients with real and honest feedbacks in order to help them develop. Sign up as a tester and start helping right away. #usabilitytesting#usertesting#testing#tester

Every time I walk into this elevator I need to think twice about what button to press. Think about this when you make a UI. I love innovative design but sometimes it can be confusing. •
