My weekend had a great start on Saturday with a two hour trip with daughter @footsteps_of_nature and sister @keto_hiker to a place of natural beauty Roche-A-Cri State Park. A 303 step climb to the top to enjoy a scene that makes the climb worth it. Much hiking and scenery to get to the stair climb. We experienced some small challenges through flooded areas from all of the rain Wisconsin has received. We waited for this time of year for the trip, knowing the change of colors on the trees would not disappoint us. Nature gave us everything we were anticipating. Cause Instagram only allows so many pics on one post....I’ll be doing a second post for more pics.
Saturday was a revelation for me. I'm not the same person I was 8 months ago. This goes beyond weight loss (44 lbs) and changing how and what I eat (Keto & Intermittent Fasting). Though the external changes can be seen, it's the internal where I'm most proud. My lifestyle has changed, and now I have a greater quality of life. I plan and meal prep weekly, leaving nothing to chance. The girl who used to love nothing more than binge watching tv and snacking on a Saturday now leaps out of bed early on Saturday mornings, excited to walk and hike with my friends. I look for ways to be active around the house. My home has never been so consistently clean before, lol! I never would have thought 8 months ago that I would VOLUNTARILY put my body through the intensity that Mt. Yonah required. But I did. All through the help of this beautiful community surrounding me on this mountain. With everyone's help and motivation, we got to the top together. BBQ Chicken Pinwheels 😍 damn these are so good. I rolled out @keto.copy#fathead dough and added cream cheese, rotisserie chicken, onion and @ghughessugarfree BBQ sauce. I cut them into 10 equal pieces, egg washed them and baked them 375 for about 24 minutes. I ate way more than I should’ve but saved the rest for my weekly #mealprep

I’m using the app called Zero. 💕 The benefits of fasting: Just like with ketosis, intermittent fasting is a popular option for people wanting to lose weight quickly. Not only does the body begin breaking down fat for energy, you’re also more likely to eat less overall from intermittent fasting. 💕 Things I’m allowed to have: water, black coffee and tea! ☕️ 🍵 💦 Im excited! I have 4.2 pounds to go until I’m at 200 pounds!
Keto October Challenge #14 Meal 🥘 Prep: I started using the carb manager app for the last 4 days + keeping track off my weightloss in the weightloss app since the end of last month (pink scale icon with woman drinking water on it) I find these apps super helpful. 🦄🧜♀️ I plan my food for the whole day and it helps me keep on track. I really love that @ketolibriyum has all the nutrition info right on the containers and it’s so easy for macro counting. Also, visually seeing a graph of my transformation keeps me accountable and I like seeing the steady decline. 5.2 pounds until I reach onederland! 🦄🧜♀️ Do you use any apps for your weightloss journey?

I track Macros, so I weigh out each before putting it on the Silpat. 🙂
Preheat the Oven to 350 Degrees. Weigh Cheese (each has 14g in the batch I made) in a lil Ramekin. Tare. Then add the Nutritional Yeast (each has 1g in my batch). Add a dash of Parsley to each. Spread each on the mat. Try to be consistent with the height of the cheese, so that they will bake evenly. Bake for 6 Minutes, or until crisp and golden Brown. Every Oven is different, so keep your eye on them! 🧀♨️👀 .
If you have extras after you snack on them, store in the Fridge.
You can get creative, and add anything you like to them! I am going to make some Rosemary ones, and also a Spicy Jalapeño Cayenne ones as well. Having a Variety always keeps me on track. 😌👍
Welp.... I was feeling a little self conscious because I never posted a weight loss photo like this!! But I quickly got over that!! SugarHoneyIcedTea!! Hell!! I’m fifty and I look damn good!! So the reason I’m posting these pics is because I’m ready to move on! I have maintained my weight loss for the last 2 months! As y’all know, I started keto in June and I quickly lost 25 lbs by the middle of August! Since then I haven’t been strictly keto! I’m happy with me maintaining my weight loss! I’m ready for some definition as well as wanting some strength! Now, I’m not so concerned with losing weight. l’m more concerned with my body feeling good! I know that can only be accomplished though strengthening and stretching exercises!! Come on through Pilates and Barre workouts!! Let’s do this!!
