"Say It Your Way"
I’m trying to get my name out and about to build up my side business - please help me to share the word.
As most of you all know I’m a dedicated and well-rounded Special Education Teacher and over the past 5 years I have had a strong focus on building student's strength and skills in communication. I want to be able to take this passion outside of the classroom room.
In my new adventure I aim to offer communication support to families and assist in the implementation of individualised communication systems which are suited to each individual.
Spread the word :) #newbusiness#givingitago#specialeducation#communication#autisim#sayityourway#speech#everyoneneedsavoice

It's one of the first phrases we teach our kids to help them stand up for themselves and manage conflict - but what about our kids with complex communication needs? Our kids who have little or no speech? It's important everyone has the words to stand up for themselves, to advocate for themselves. It's also important that others are taught to listen, whether the words are spoken verbally or with a communication system. Teach others to respect all types communication. Words are powerful. Let's do what we can to empower everyone, including those with complex communication needs.
