“We need the tonic of wildness...At the same time that we are earnest to explore and learn all things, we require that all things be mysterious and unexplorable, that land and sea be indefinitely wild, unsurveyed and unfathomed by us because unfathomable. We can never have enough of nature.” Henry David Thoreau
I’ve started keeping my Polaroids in this field note journal so that I can write about all the little things that were going on when the photo was taken. I write about the happy and the sad, how I was feeling, and what I was grateful for that day. This little book is a treasure to me 🌼

As a child we spent our holidays always at the ocean but I wouldn't call me myself a "beach person". Nowadays I prefer the mountains but the Oregon Coast left me in awe.
Hey everyone! @thewandertravels here with the last post of my takeover of The Outside Project! Although it was the one of the hottest destinations of my entire road trip, Moab Utah was definitely a place that I will never forget. (PS: Try living in a 1980’s camper van in 100+ degree heat with no air conditioning😂 Basically like sleeping in an oven!) This particular night though, was a perfect cool, clear night for photos. I had hiked up to Delicate Arch to catch sunset with the plan to stay late into the night, waiting for the Milky Way to rise. Using a bright light to illuminate the Arch from the inside, I clicked the shutter button and ran up underneath, capturing one of my favorite, most beautiful photos to date. A huge special thank you to @outside_project for the awesome opportunity to takeover their page today! I hope you all enjoyed my stories along with a few of my favorite photos from my road trip across America. You guys can check out my page @thewandertravels for some more of my content, and I look forward to continue hearing all of your awesome feedback! Thanks again!✌🏼

Hiking through the valley, a hazy sunrise in the distance.
