Whether Bad or Good all publicity works. The purpose of marketing is to get the ATTENTION for your product and now the repeat offensive marketing definitely mirrors marketing and advertisement decades ago.
Before any of this stuff is approved to go in stores or down a runway...AT LEAST 20 PEOPLE HAVE TO ...SEE IT...STYLE IT...WEAR IT...APPROVE IT...DESIGN IT...SKETCH IT...SELL THE CONCEPT OF IT TO THE CREATIVE DESIGNER!
Even if they wasn't sure it would be a good idea or not..PRADA...H&M...GUCCI should have been a warning that it wouldn't be a good idea to market this line.
But instead...these companies are moving forward in marketing very offensive and bluntly racist clothing with only an apology to its customer.
They know...all publicity is good publicity. Just get the people talking and then apologize later.

A brand is not colors and logos…
I hear agents so often saying that they are “re-branding” or having their branding updated....
They usually mean that they are having some colors, logos, and fonts updated.
I want to let you in on a little secret.
I’ve never had a logo designed professionally, I’ve never had colors curated through an expert, and I’ve never spent more than 10 mins looking at fonts.
